John Murphy landed the corresponding race 12 months ago with March On Rome and it will be interesting if the market speaks favourably regarding Lansink on his racecourse debut. Preference, however, is for KINGSTON JAMAICA. Aidan O'Brien's team is in fine form at present and the stoutly-bred son of Galileo created a favourable impression over the same C&D last week when getting within two lengths of the well-regarded favourite Probably. David Wachman's charge had benefitted from a run and the selection is taken to follow a similar path, while Leopardstown fourth Sugar Boy is another interesting contender.

Battle Of Saratoga is beginning to look exposed after seven career starts without a win and, while debut form behind Furner's Green looks useful, he's failed to get seriously competitive since so the less exposed SHAMORA gets the nod. The filly is expected to take full advantage of her weight-for-sex allowance and can build on a useful start at Wexford, when not beaten far in third behind some useful-looking types. Of the newcomers, Indiana Charmer is worth keep a close eye on in the betting market.

Bubbly Bellini arrives boasting obvious claims following back-to-back victories both over this C&D and at Sligo, but he's opposable under another 5lb penalty and this step up in class may bring the winning run to a halt. It could pay to side with MATJAR who was a cosy winner of a similar race over 1m at Dundalk last month. He's rated highly enough on his return to the turf scene but there is every chance he'll be ridden close to the pace and he shouldn't be tiring close home with confidence very much restored. Love Is The Key makes most appeal of the others.

As expected, Aidan O'Brien is well represented in tonight's feature and the unexposed Offer spearheads the Ballydoyle attack. The son of Montjeu should be there with every chance if a bloodless Navan maiden win has brought him forward again, but BACKBENCH BLUES can use all of his experience to land back-to-back victories in the race for trainer Jessica Harrington. Following a somewhat lacklustre performance in a Curragh handicap two starts ago, the son of Big Bad Bob recaptured the winning thread when beating Macbeth in a Leopardstown Listed race earlier this month, and the improving three-year-old looks to have conditions in his favour again. Sense Of Purpose and Aklan are also given a chance.

Demurely takes a notable drop from Group 3 company into a maiden and looks the pick of Aidan O'Brien's pair, but FAANAN ALDAAR left a lasting impression when posting a much-improved performance at the Curragh last time and the daughter of Authorized makes plenty of appeal. She is entitled to have come on again for her close-up third to Vedani and the step up to the extended 1m3f is likely to prompt further improvement. Jessie Jane and Precious Stone can't be overlooked and are likely to prove popular each-way selections.

COPPERS hinted that a step back up in trip would suit when fourth over 1m2f at Clonmel on her most recent assignment and, while still a maiden from 19 starts on the level, this looks winnable and she's weighted to cause a stir when push comes to shove. The daughter of Diktat may represent the value option, but Star Of Aragon and Placere aren't to be overlooked at the shortlist stage and look up to running big races at the head of the weights.

THE REAL ARTICLE looks the one to be on in the finale and Edward O'Grady's dual Grade 2 winning hurdler can maintain a sound record on the level. He will have no problem getting this trip, will be suited by any rain and should take all the beating if in a similar mood to when scoring over 1m6f at Kilbeggan last month. He's classy enough to give weight away to the entire field but Caim Hill boasts a perfect record in this sphere following a cosy win in a Wexford maiden last month and he will be poised to pounce. Endless Intrigue could also go close if the selection falters.
