MAD JAZZ ran a cracker to finish fourth in a valuable seller at York last week and she looks to have been well placed to add to her previous Catterick success. Tony Coyle's Sir Percy was sent off favourite for her debut here back in April so has evidently been showing plenty at home from an early stage and this step up to 7f should suit. The in-form Tiger Sunset looks the obvious danger to the selection and is expected to run well again, with Zero Rated the pick of the remainder.

VENEGAZZU stepped up on a moderate reappearance effort when finishing second of four at Newcastle last time and he looks up to winning races returned to maiden company. His third to Encke at the end of last season rates rock solid form and he makes more appeal than Star Deal, who looks to be going the right way and turned in his best effort so far when just touched off at Ripon last month. Adeste ran well enough in a Newmarket maiden latest and would also have sound claims if able to step forward again.

Al Furat ran on well in the closing stages over 1m1f when scoring at Redcar last time and shaped as though this longer trip would suit, especially since he has winning course form over 1m6f. Marginal preference, however, is for MEDIA STARS, who has winning form over this track and trip and is only 1lb higher than when filling the runner-up spot over 1m4f at Newcastle last time. Free Art and Pattern Mark are entitled to improve now upped in trip and are others to consider.

SILVERWARE showed his rivals a clean pair of heels when scoring over this trip at Ayr last month and a reproduction of those tactics could be productive in the small field here. Both Just Bond and Kiwi Bay have winning form over track and trip and are respected, although the main danger may be improving three-year-old Rio Grande, who scored with plenty in hand in a Kempton handicap in March and is unexposed on turf. Recent York runner-up Next Edition is also weighted to finish on the premises.

Eijaaz ran creditably at his beloved Catterick in selling company when last sighted and is expected to finish on the premises again here since he's twice won over C&D in the past. Jack Dawkins, who landed a Southwell claimer in April, is another that is afforded respect whilst operating at this level, but preferred ahead of both is Ian Williams' ex-Irish recruit ELIZABETH COFFEE. The selection was placed in a 0-85 handicap at Chester last month and a reproduction of that effort may be sufficient to score now dropped in grade.

Sir George threatens to strike at some point soon as he's dropped 13lb lower than his last winning mark. Ollie Pears' representative looks a major player now operating at 0-70 level, although stablemate WHAT'S THE POINT, who is lightly-raced and open to a greater level of improvement, edges the vote on the back of a recent near-miss at Musselburgh. Broctune Papa Gio, third at Carlisle off this mark latest, has place claims once more, as does Iceblast, who was outpaced when third over 7f at Musselburgh last time but is open to improvement over 1m.

MOORHOUSE GIRL has presumably had problems in the past since she missed the whole of 2010 and raced only once last year. However, she was twice placed over sprint trips as a juvenile and there may well be better to come from this half-sister of Moorhouse Lad now she goes handicapping. Myjestic Melody was placed over this trip at Thirsk last time and is expected to go well off an unchanged rating while there could be better to come from Kara's Vision, who is making her seasonal/handicap debut and represents a yard that do well with their sprinters.
