Milton Star has shown some ability but has something to find here. Faithful Manager looked promising last year but he's been off the track for 16 months and his fitness must be taken on trust. City Of Sails needs to improve but shouldn't be discounted. Preference, however, is for FREDDIE FOSTER, a bumper winner at Navan. He's improved over his two runs over timber and was only run out of it on the flat at Punchestown last time. He should have come on for the race and can get his head in front now.

Glenbane Lady was well beaten last time but won well at Clonmel at the start of the month and can be given a chance of that form. Harbour View is consistent but looks too high in the handicap while Corskeagh Thunder is slipping down the weights but has something to find. They may all struggle, however, behind KILLEANEY, a talented young hurdler who has won has last three starts. He has a stone more to carry today than his last winning handicap mark but is still on the upgrade and can't be opposed.

Royal Thistle is inconsistent but can be given a chance on her best form. Brandy House turned in her best performance to date last time and a repeat effort off the same mark today would see her go close. Ladyjackline has winning Flat form but has yet to show anything over hurdles while Paddys Girl looks a better horse nowadays over fences. LANGKAWI BAY hasn't run over timber for nearly two years but has been campaigning with distinction on the Flat this back end and could open her hurdling account today.

It's taken PEARLY JACK a while to get the hang of the chasing game but he put it all together at Thurles this month to score in emphatic style over 2m2f. He has gone up 10lb in the handicap and has to give several of the losers weight here - the runner-up, Master Badsworth, gets 8lb for a six length beating, but won with such authority he should be capable of following up today. Master Badsworth, who remains in good heart, should again take the runners-up spot while Moss Bawn has place claims.

Goldstreet has proved himself over timber and fences but hasn't run since July, 2003. Light On The Broom has the benefit of a recent run and has ability but this should go to the impressive youngster ONE MORE MINUTE. Three runs over timber have seen him placed twice before winning at Thurles last month. There looks to be plenty more to come and he can't be opposed. Monty's Pass is a marvellously talented performer - but in long distance chases. The Grand National fourth would be a surprise winner here.

Supreme Rebel was flattered by third place in his debut chase and needs to improve. Boyackasha has shown some ability over fences but has been well beaten on his last two starts while Ransboro is improving but looks to have more to find. MODEL SON, a winning hurdler, ran well for a long way on his chasing debut at Navan before losing his chance when clouting six out. He stayed on his feet to finish, however, and if he can put in a clear round today, should be able to open his account over fences.

Afterburn put in a much-improved performance in a similar event at Gowran Park last time and comes into the reckoning while Love Supreme has three good efforts under her belt and should go close. The well-bred newcomer Outlaw Princess must have sound claims but preference here is for TIARELLA who has improved for her two runs in bumpers at Punchestown. Further improvement today should see her home in this contest.
