MR AUSSIE, a bumper winner, has been banging on the door over timber, but this could be the day he finds a way through. Far More Serious and Fins Cross are hurdling debutants that have shown ability in bumpers, while Quel Doun has claims on the pick of his form

13:10 Limerick (IRE) (4YO plus)

Guinness Christmas Hurdle

DRUNKEN DISORDERLY's second at Thurles last month was a useful effort and it would be no shock to see him go one better today. City Of Sails is better than his latest form suggests and can figure, while Monsieur Monet is of interest as he makes his debut over hurdles following a successful bumper career.

3

13:45 Limerick (IRE) (4YO plus)

Martins Construction Handicap Hurdle (74-102)

2m 6f

BALLITO has to give weight away all round, but his impressive win at Thurles earlier in the month indicates he may be capable of doing so. Kylegarra Lady was not beaten far in a mares' race at Gowran latest and could take a hand in the finish, while Gimli's Fury is in good form at present and can't be ruled out.

4

14:15 Limerick (IRE) (3YO plus)

O'Connor Murphy Gubbins Handicap Hurdle (74-95)

2m

Winner €7,256 - 18 ran

OSSETIAN PRINCE holds Golden Domer on a line through Bally Scanlon and is taken to press home his advantage. True Believer can get competitive if leaving his latest run at Fairyhouse behind, while Silverkeyes looked to be coming to hand at Downpatrick last time and could be a threat.

5

14:50 Limerick (IRE) (Class 4) (5YO plus)

Tim Duggan Memorial Handicap Chase (listed) (rated 0-135)

2m 4f

Winner €26,040 - 10 ran

The handicapper has taken notice of several of these and the likes of Just, Curfew Tolls, Charging and Colonel Monroe have plenty on their plates off their new marks. Ransboro can be given a chance but preference is for CAPTAIN MAC. He's up 10lb for his win across the sea at Sedgefield, but he scored by 10l easing up and a repeat of that efforts would be good enough here.

6

15:20 Limerick (IRE) (5YO plus)

Irish Independent Beginners Chase

2m 6f

Winner €11,056 - 15 ran

Mutineer and Randwick Roar have plenty of experience over fences but are looking exposed now and could be vulnerable here. Braun Star turned in a much-improved performance last time in just his third run over fences and could go close here but a better bet may be HARBOUR VIEW. Twice a winner over hurdles lately, he tackles fences for the first time but is sure to be well prepared and could have the class to take this.

7

15:50 Limerick (IRE) (4YO plus)

Goggin Buckley Engineering Mares INH Flat Race

2m

Winner €7,256 - 15 ran

Media Queen needs to improve on her two efforts to date but looks capable of better. Lodge Princess, who has raced twice over hurdles, has plenty of experience but makes little appeal on her two efforts in bumpers and it's worth siding with SWISS HALL, an easy winner between the flags on her first outing. She looks to have the ability to take this on her debut under rules.
