KENDERGARTEN KOP returned to winning ways over C&D just before Christmas and remains open to further improvement beyond a mile as he bids to defy an 8lb rise in the ratings. Pink Jazz has been in good order over the extended mile and extended 1m1f at Wolverhampton and should be thereabouts if seeing out this longer trip. It would come as no surprise to see Uther Pendragon or One To Go figure either.

COUPE DE CHAMPAGNE returned a beaten favourite over C&D last time but still sets the standard on that effort and is expected to give a good account off this 3lb higher perch. Sisu merits a market check on her handicap debut and is expected to leave behind her juvenile efforts over distances up to an extended mile, now upped in trip. Damned Elusive should also be thereabouts if building on her recent third at Wolverhampton.

WAKE UP HARRY was touched off by a neck over this trip on debut at Kempton and wouldn't need to find much improvement in order to gain compensation. Abrag and Vanity Affair are both entitled to build on encouraging initial performances and could finish on the premises, though the main danger to the selection may be William Haggas' newcomer Pop Favorite, who is expected to know his job first time out.

KODIAC HARBOUR has been in top form of late and turned a string of seconds over 10 furlongs into a deserved victory when dropping back in trip last time. He kept on gamely on that occasion and the mount of Luke Morris is just 2lb higher now. Recent Kempton scorer Fly The Nest arrives in equally good order and has to be respected. Lunar Deity went close at Chelmsford and makes appeal cutting back in distance, with Accomplice and Cape Greco others of note.

C&D winner STORM MELODY doesn't always have the best of luck in his races, but he is now 17lb lower than for his last success and a step up in trip could see a change of fortune. Merweb has also been given a chance by the handicapper and placed off this rating when last seen. Fujaira King and track-and-trip regular Passing Nod are others to consider.

ROHAAN notched up a hat-trick when scoring readily over C&D and despite a further 12lb hike from the assessor, he can continue on his upward curve. Andronicus Beau was second on that occasion and has a chance to close the gap off the same rating, now tried in first-time cheekpieces. Bravado has looked useful so far and puts his unbeaten record on the line on his handicap bow.

HIDDEN BREEZE can take advantage of the drop back from 7f and the application of first-time blinkers, with her finishing effort not being the strongest on her last couple of starts. Join Forces is an interesting newcomer for a stable that is very capable of readying one for their racecourse debut. Beija Flor can step forward now wearing a hood on this occasion.

SUPER JULIUS went close to making a winning start for Chelsea Banham when runner-up at Wolverhampton on Sunday and the seven-year-old is unlikely to be fazed by the quick turnaround, with connections aiming to take advantage of him remaining on the same mark. Arzaak comes into this in decent form and has to enter calculations along with Roundabout Magic.
