BAJAN GOLD had four lengths in hand when scoring at Windsor last time and is expected to defy a penalty to notch a quick double. Brexitmeansbrexit attracted support when going down by half-a-length into third at Yarmouth and she wouldn't need to find much improvement in order to figure. The pick of the remainder may be Arch Gold if he can reproduce the form shown at Newcastle on his penultimate start.

Pammi battled on well to score by a head over the extended 1m1f at Wolverhampton and she could improve for this stiffer test. Narrow preference, however, is for CASEMATES SQUARE, who is expected to step up on his last effort over the extended 2m at Wolverhampton now cutting back in trip and fitted with first-time cheekpieces. Solveig's Song was outpaced over 1m2f at Brighton last time and has place claims now granted this stiffer test.

ATTAIN needs to leave behind a moderate effort at Wolverhampton last time but makes more appeal on his preceding course victory, albeit that was over 1m2f. Port Douglas is fitted with a first-time hood after finishing in rear in better company at Kempton last time and could feasibly play a minor role. Bamako Du Chatelet is only 3lb higher than when striking here in December and is another capable of taking a hand.

FAST LANDING is yet to score in two starts this spring but could find improvement now on turf debut. Jason Watson removes a valuable 5lb with his claim and the four-year-old is well drawn in stall one. He may have needed the run when a beaten favourite at Newcastle, and was forced out wide at Chelmsford 23 days ago around the bend. Dance Teacher showed some nice battling tendencies when holding on at Kempton last time, while Colonel Frank is a consistent type who merits a second look.

CRITICAL DATA hasn't been disgraced in two outings so far and could easily build on his third in a Salisbury novice event last time to take this stepping up to 7f for Richard Hannon. Mick Channon has been firing in the winners in this sphere and his Dr Smolder has to be respected despite having a little to prove following his opening run, while Tribune, a 20,000gns Book Two yearling, appears the pick of the debutants on show.

Yarmouth scorer La Isla Bonita faces a tough task from 8lb higher in the handicap this time and is due to take up an engagement at Wetherby on Friday evening, so preference is for the hat-trick seeking SHOWDANCE KID, who looks to transfer his good all-weather form to turf having made the podium on his last four starts. Roys Dream was second here over 6f last month and may have more to come now up in trip from just 2lb higher, while African Blessing is also considered each-way.

C&D winner Dragon Moon struggled on his follow up bid at Chester, but that was up in trip and the Super Saver colt has to be respected back at 6f. However, preference is for Brighton winner SOUMEI, who showed plenty of improvement when scoring on just his second start and had the race in control from a furlong out. An extra half a furlong should prove little problem and a double looks on the cards. Secret Eye and Dories Delight are others to note.
