CHAMPAGNE TO GO has made the frame in her last three starts and there is every chance that she can open her account over hurdles. The recent Worcester winner Mac Tottie has to be considered despite his 7lb penalty, while similar comments also apply to Roo Roo. Court Dreaming bumped into a useful rival over C&D last month and he completes the shortlist.

ZOLFO proved that his victory at Bangor last month was no fluke by finishing second at the same venue a couple of weeks later. Another 5lb rise in the ratings will make life tougher for him but he is progressive and may have more to offer. Charlie Snow Angel won well at Kelso when last seen and he could prove to be the main threat, ahead of Motion To Strike.

In a moderate race a chance can be taken with ANGEL'S ENVY, who did run poorly last time out but her previous effort at Sedgefield was encouraging. Gentleman James put in a career best when filling second place over C&D last month and another good run can be expected from him. Others to note are Make It Happen and Politeness.

MINELLA SCAMP improved for the return to a sounder surface when winning in good style at Towcester last month and the return to 3m on similar ground should pose no issue. More Buck's makes his debut for the Peter Bowen stable and the yard have a fantastic record at the track operating at a 38% strike-rate (9-24) in the past five seasons, while Blue Kascade looks best of the remainder.

The booking of Brian Hughes looks very notable on recent Downpatrick winner SHIPWRECK as she is turned out rather quickly and, despite a fair hike in the weights, could have more to offer stepping up to 3m for the first time. Jack Devine improved for a wind operation when getting the better of Reivers Lodge, who reopposes, over C&D last time and both of those warrant consideration once again.

LIL ROCKERFELLER is undoubtedly the star attraction on the card as he makes his chase debut and, on hurdles form, should prove too classy for the opposition granted a clear round. His form wasn't as consistent last season as it can be so this could potentially freshen him up. Tanarpino got the better of Mighty Leader at Hexham when the pair met last time and they will be there to pick up the pieces if the selection falters.

Golden Jeffrey was outpaced over 2m on decent ground on the Flat last time but could do better now reverting to hurdles, while Irish raider Triolet needs a market check with Adrian Heskin booked to do the steering for a shrewd yard. The Compeller is a progressive sort, but that sentiment also applies to Susan Corbett's MORNING WITH IVAN. A winner the last three times, she has gone up 38lb since last November but showed no signs of stopping here last time and looks set to run big once more.

KARAMOKO returned to form at Ayr in May when third over 2m and this step up in trip is fancied to suit Nicky Richards' charge. A mark of 102 looks there to be taken advantage of on his handicap bow and he can account for Budarri, who is still a maiden but continues to run well in defeat, and Lawtop Legend, who ran well at Hexham when second after a break last time and drops in trip.
