KASAKH NOIR made a big impression when dotting up on his hurdling debut and was by no means disgraced when attempting to concede 10lb to a couple of subsequent winners last time. He remains a gelding with lots of potential and it will be disappointing if he doesn't return to winning ways. The obvious danger is Wolfcatcher, who made no mistake on his hurdling debut over this C&D while Warwick runner-up Three Colours Red also has place credentials.

Buttercup shaped with plenty of promise on her first start for this stable at Warwick and she can run another big race, but it might pay to side with hurdling debutant MIDNIGHT TOUR. Although a little disappointing in a Listed bumper at Huntingdon last time, that was a very hot race and we know the ability is there with the six-year-old having won comfortably at Catterick first time out. Providing she takes to the hurdling game, she is sure to go close. Rock Chick Supremo might prove best of the remainder.

Point The Way hasn't put a foot wrong in both starts over hurdles thus far and warrants plenty of respect in his bid to complete the hat-trick, but in receipt of 4lb, the exciting ONEFITZALL is preferred. Although it was initially disappointing that he got turned over at Leicester, the form of that race now looks pretty strong with the fourth and fifth-placed horses winning races since and he can get back on track today. Sharpasaknife won pretty much as he liked first time out at Wetherby and there are certainly more races to be won with him, while hat-trick seeking Tanarpino is no mug either.

Milly Baloo' s recent win and placed efforts here read well and she is likely to be in the shake-up again, but it might be worth chancing PETROU on his handicap debut. He has improved with each start in novice company over two miles and stepping up in trip today could unlock another gear or two. Captain Kelly is clearly a lot better than showing here last month and he might be worth another chance in this lesser event.

Pembroke House came good at Leicester and he makes plenty of appeal with title-chasing jockey Richard Johnson taking over in the plate, but AZERT DE COEUR rates the one to beat. He lost little in defeat when a head second at Wetherby on his penultimate outing and can be forgiven a second-fence blunder back at the West Yorkshire track last time. Ballyadeen wouldn't be the most consistent but is more than capable when putting his best foot forward.

DARK LOVER had plenty of success during his time with Paul Nicholls and he can make a name for himself in this sphere as well. He had a subsequent winner 19 3/4 lengths behind when scoring on his hunter chase debut at Taunton last month and he might well improve for that first outing since April 2014. Soleil D'avril won first time out last season at Catterick and he merits consideration on his first outing in 306 days, while Lord Heathfield is respected following a couple of wins between the flags.
