Vinstar has a course success to his name, having landed an all-out success here on his penultimate start, but doesn't appear to be one of his yard's leading lights and has enough on his plate under top weight. Grandiloquent has yet to reproduce the best of his Flat form in three uninspiring starts over timber but is exceptionally well treated if Brian Ellison can coax him back to a decent level, although ARTIFICE SIVOLA is just preferred off the bottom perch, as the French import showed distinct improvement last time when inched out at Fakenham and looks on the upgrade.
Narcissist looks on a good mark and can build on his encouraging fourth-placed finish when switched to handicapping at Wetherby last time. Artifice Sivola has also made a good start to life in handicaps and should be in the mix, while Mr Shantu is just the type to come into his own now given this sort of challenge.

Keep an eye on Gold Futures on his handicap debut for Nicky Richards and Mixed Message who's sent into handicap company after just a couple over starts over timber by Brian Ellison. Theatrelands has landed three of his last four starts, including his chase debut, but has been absent since December, so TIRADIA makes greater appeal on the back of a facile Taunton success and a 16lb hike may not be enough to halt him in this company.
Polstar and Tiradia both arrive at the top of their game and should go well despite hefty weight hikes for recent victories, while Focail Maith is another to bear in mind turned out just 4 days after being placed at Kempton, but Nicky Richards has his string in good nick at present and Gold Futures may make a successful switch to handicaps if first-time headgear works after a 6-month absence.

OLD PALS ACT hasn't obliged in 11 starts but looks just the sort that Jonjo O'Neill will do well with this summer season. Strong market support would indicate his readiness for the task in hand. He went close on a number of occasions last term over this trip and quick ground and was far from disgraced when last seen on just his second start over fences. Dungeness fell on his only chase start last year and needs to put a below-par effort behind him, whereas Tayarat has really found form of late and rates an obvious threat.
Old Pals Act left the impression this sort of mark would be within his reach when third at Bangor on just his second start over fences in September and, provided he's ready to roll after a long break, can break his maiden tag here. Tayarat is on a hat-trick and has to be considered, though at likely bigger odds Spiekeroog may provide a value alternative to the selection on his chasing bow.

Monetary Fund would have been very tempting off this mark on the best of his form but the Montjeu gelding seems to have hit something of a flat patch in recent starts, so any notable market support should be taken seriously. AZURE FLY was most disappointing last month at Cheltenham but his previous efforts, including a strong third place behind Heronry in a hot Ascot hurdle, read well in the context of this contest. He can get back on the winning track with the useful Charlie Deutsch claiming a valuable 7lb. Hopstrings and Imperial Leader are others to note.
A Ffos Las defeat is excusable at the best of times, so Touch Back will likely bounce back away from heavy ground, but Imperial Leader is unexposed at 3m and this represents an easier assignment than he has been facing, so is taken to make the most of it.

Presenting Junior was a close-up third at Sedgefield latest and it was around this time last season that he started to really come to himself. He's best on good ground so further rain would not be in his favour and BRINGEWOOD BELLE is preferred as she seeks the hat-trick. AP McCoy is a rare booking for the Needham team but their mare is in tremendous nick at present and can defy an 11lb rise for those two April victories. The other three are closely matched on recent efforts in a trappy little affair, with Ifonlyalfie preferred for the minor placing.
Bringewood Belle has been found a good opportunity to continue her recent revival and land the hat-trick with McCoy taking over from a 7 lb claimer. Xenophon is preferred to Ifonlyalfie for the forecast.

Silentplan is the only winner on show but has been absent for over a year and faces some interesting sorts from yards with excellent records in such contests. Nicky Henderson has few peers in these events so Towering must be taken very seriously on debut, but KNIGHT BACHELOR is preferred from a value perspective. The Midnight Legend gelding represents the Greatrex team that also boasts a splendid strike rate of 25 per cent in bumpers over the past five years. The yard remains in strong form. Amidon is another newcomer of interest whilst Chain Of Beacons is a potential improver.
Kwo Neshe shaped well on last month's debut so may well fare best of those with experience, but it would hardly be a surprise were one of the newcomers up to the task, Towering selected in favour of Knight Bachelor.
