Lucy Wadham is a shrewd placer of her inmates and this looks a good opportunity for TEALISSIO to build on a much-improved effort at Southwell recently when just failing to overhaul Hawkhill. The latter didn't run at all badly at Perth in handicap company this week to give the form a solid look. Ulys Du Charmil appears the first choice of Alan King's pair and there should be improvement to come from the French import. Unex Degas completes the shortlist.

LAVEROQUE, brought along nice and steadily by Charlie Longsdon, showed good signs for the future when a respectable third to Amron Lad at Bangor last time. He previously shaped with promise at Kempton and looks fairly treated for this handicap bow against primarily exposed sorts. Shockingtimes is an exception and rates the main danger on what is only his third hurdling appearance for a yard in good form of late. Kingdom Of Munster and Bin End are next best.

Local Lincolnshire handler Nick Kent enjoyed his only win of the previous campaign when AROUND A POUND scored with real authority over C&D under Charles Greene. The pair are reunited here and can repeat the dose although there may be a slight concern about the quicker conditions. Natural Spring remains lightly raced over timber, has shaped really well on both starts this year and is expected to deliver another solid account, whilst Charlie Wingnut and Soloeil D'Avril are both potential improvers.

An open contest in which SUBURBAN BAY is taken to return to winning ways. He's found life tough over fences this year but landed successive victories over timber a year or so ago and showed there's still a staying chase in him off his current mark when a solid second at Kempton on his penultimate outing. Trip and ground suit and he's preferred to interesting chasing debutant, Magic Prospect, and the consistent pair of Iona Days and Quazy De Joie.

Jam Tomorrow showed improved form last time before falling on his third run for the McCain team and is interesting at the foot of the weights (1lb out of handicap). David Pipe sends Clever Dick into handicap company for his fencing bow, likewise Jonjo O'Neill with O'CALLAGHAN STRAND. It makes for tricky punting so we'll row in with the rather enigmatic GETAWAY DRIVER in the hope he can repeat the level of his chasing debut when a decent second to Chapel House.

Paul Rich has his string in decent nick and the Welsh handler can strike with former Henry De Bromhead chaser, SIZING AMERICA. His solid sixth placing in the Aintree Foxhunters Chase behind Cloudy Lane represents the best Rules form by far, whilst his previous run behind Ringa Bay at Southwell also looks good in the context of this contest. Miss Vivian remains open to improvement over fences and looks a danger, with the consistent Montauk Highway the logical each-way option.

Alan Swinbank hasn't been anything like as busy as usual with his bumper crop this year but Be Devious showed promise first time behind Forty Crown at Sedgefield and should go close with improvement likely. Woodacre belied his starting price with a good effort here last September and should be on the premises but we'll take a chance with PRESENTING PADDY. Sarah Humphrey had a bumper winner at Southwell last week and this newcomer is certainly bred for the job.
