GO CHIQUE justified favouritism when winning a bumper at Southwell earlier this month for Nicky Henderson and could improve further for the switch to hurdles. The four-year-old travelled comfortably throughout there and could make the most of this opportunity before runners from similarly powerful yards start appearing. Mrs Hyde is 2-2 over hurdles for Brian Ellison and could go close if running to her official rating of 127, while recent Uttoxeter scorer Perfect Myth is another name worth taking seriously.

HICONIC narrowly failed to justify favouritism on the level at Lingfield earlier this month, but previously looked impressive when landing the odds at Newton Abbot in this sphere and could prove tough to stop receiving 7lb from Amy Murphy's C&D hat-trick seeker Soldier On Parade. The selection is 4-4 over obstacles and this is another nice opening for Alex Hales' charge. Recent Fontwell hero Talking About You needs to improve again but that is entirely possible.

ROYAL MAGIC appreciated the step up in trip when successful at Newton Abbot last week for Sam Thomas and could prove tough to stop racing in 0-105 company off a new mark of 109. Jordan Nailor's 5lb claim could prove invaluable carrying such a big weight, and the eight-year-old is preferred ahead of recent Southwell scorer Waitonit. Do You Know What is another expected to go well.

Uttoxeter one-two Fanzio and Before Midnight do battle once again, but it could be VINNIE THE HODDIE, fourth on that occasion, who lands the spoils here. Oliver Sherwood's six-year-old built on that effort when returning to the Staffordshire track to hand Dan Skelton's New Quay a six-and-a-half-length beating earlier this month and could give a bold sight from the front once again. Neverbeen To Paris impressed when scoring over track and trip last month and is interesting off a 5lb higher rating now tried in first-time cheekpieces, while Bandsman, Lungarno Palace and Buster Thomas are others arriving in good form for this competitive event.

Red Force One had many of these behind when landing a similar contest over course and distance earlier this month and despite disappointing on the Flat since, has to be towards the top of the shortlist off a 5lb higher mark. Brandon Castle and Highly Prized, fourth and fifth respectively in that contest, have gone from strength to strength since, the former landing a pair of track-and-trip events, while the latter was only a neck away from back-to-back Stratford victories recently. Swaffham Bulbeck has been beating all before him in the north and the hat-trick seeker is respected, with Charlie Longsdon's Beyond The Clouds another arriving in the very best of order. However, a chance is taken on MARINE ONE, who made it two wins from two for Dr Richard Newland at Sedgefield last month and the course-and-distance scorer is interesting now pitched into handicap company with Cillin Leonard and his 7lb claim employed in the saddle.

PETITIONER made a pleasing return to hurdles when second at Kelso and has a great chance off just a 1lb higher rating here with first-time cheekpieces applied. Crimson King has mixed his hurdling and Flat appearances this summer and is sure to be fighting fit in first-time blinkers, while Swilly Sunset is another tried in a new piece of headgear following a pair of respectable efforts this season.

SAY NOTHING has shown a bit of promise on her three hurdle outings to date and the daughter of Nathaniel makes plenty of appeal on her handicap bow for a stable who have enjoyed a decent summer. Glimpse Of Gold placed at Fontwell on his latest start which followed a victory at Uttoxeter, while a pair of blinkers might aid the cause of Justice Knight having disappointed over fences at Kelso last time.

BARON NELSON cost 55,000 euros as a store last June and the son of Mount Nelson has a speedy pedigree for a stable that boast an excellent record in bumpers. Sun Rising Hill won his sole point-to-point outing in March and warrants plenty of respect on his Rules debut, while Dorking Rogue and Jay Jay Reilly are other newcomers worthy of note.
