ARABIAN JAZZ brings plenty of experience to the table and his fourth last time at Beverley was much better than the bare result on paper suggests. She will be much better suited by today's flatter track which will bring her pace into play and it would be no surprise to see her break her duck here. Mark Johnston's newcomer Pelice has to be respected and can go well on her debut. Mi Capricho thrived over track and trip last time and may be the next best of those with experience to their name.

Rebecca Menzies' LANDING NIGHT wasn't far away when knocking on the door last time and the five-year-old can go one better this time off the same mark. Talented apprentice Rowan Scott takes over in the plate to remove a handy 5lb and a bold bid looks on the cards. The consistent Noah Amor ran another fine race at Beverley at the weekend and must be respected, while a chance is also given to Paul Midgley's One Boy, who got back to winning ways last time at Hamilton.

HIGH WELLS was an impressive winner at Bath last time and Seamus Durak will be confident his High Chaparral gelding can handle the 9lb rise here and he can hold off Rosemay, who looks the pick of the Iain Jardine pair. Knightsbridge Liam has his optimum distance and is one to keep an eye on incase he gets a soft lead he can take advantage of.

Rebecca Bastiman's Edgar Allan Poe comes here in fine form having won the last twice, but could come unstuck here now on a sounder surface. Ruth Carr's C&D winner Ellaal wasn't far away last time, but the vote goes to his conqueror that day MASARZAIN, with Archie Watson's progressive four-year-old backed to defy a 6lb penalty for that victory. The Scottish duo Bernie's Boy and Argaki can go well for their Highlands handlers looking to keep the prize north of the border.

MAGICAL EFFECT was a desperately unlucky loser at Catterick last time out when meeting plenty of trouble for Ruth Carr and compensation could await for the five-year-old. He was the one to take from the race and could get the better of Sakhee's Return, who ended a long winless run last month and still looks fairly treated. Dark Profit and Royal Connoisseur could prove best of the remainder, with the latter fancied to enjoy these conditions.

Archie Watson and Edward Greatrex have a great record when teaming up and BRANDON CASTLE looks tough to stop here chasing the hat-trick. 2-2 for this promising young handler, the five-year-old still looks nicely handicapped and could be too good for Chebsey Beau, who battled well for the in-form John Quinn to win last time out at Ayr, and Canny Style, who has only gone up 4lb for two impressive recent victories but would want the forecast rain to arrive.

HAMIDANS GIRL (first) got the better of The Night Before (second) at Beverley last time out and that form is fancied to be confirmed here, despite the selection being 6lb worse off at the weights this time. The three-year-old appeared to win with plenty under the bonnet, and looks better drawn than Robert Cowell's reopposing rival. Thornaby Princess and Thorntoun Lady deserve respect as former course and distance winners, while Dawoodi showed signs of life when third at Hamilton recently.
