WOOD RANGER has shown good ability on two runs to date and can make it third time luck, as he receives weight from most rivals. He ran with promise on debut before running a solid race when fourth in the valuable Silver Ballyhane Stakes (a non-Stakes race) at Naas last month. That form is solid with both the third and seventh placed horses winning on their next starts and Wood Ranger drops down in grade here. Takeko herself ran with promise on debut and also ran a solid race when third at the Curragh subsequently before being well held in the Group 3 Silver Flash Stakes last month. That was a hot contest and she too drops back in grade here and should get involved at the business end. Dense Star has a rating of 94, owing to her fourth placing in a Listed race at Naas in August and while that was won by smart Miss Amulet, she subsequently disappointed at Dundalk. Dense Star finished ahead of Diamond Eyes in that recent Dundalk race and Diamond Eyes then beat today's runner Watercolormemories here five days ago. Watercolormemories is also an able type but is vulnerable to smarter types. Lightning Boltz was well held by the selection on Silver Ballyhane Stakes form.

HALF NUTZ is an improving three year old who might follow up last month's course and distance win in this open looking handicap. He won his final start of 2019 and has done very well this year and while penalised 7lbs for his latest win, is proven over course and distance and is ground-versatile. Mogwli has run in 16 handicaps and while he seemed fairly exposed, did win his second race over this trip at the Curragh last month. He too is versatile ground-wise and while he is 5lbs higher than when winning at the Curragh, he is again ridden by his 10lbs claimer. Inflection Point has a fascinating profile in that connections dropped him markedly down in trip this year having run over middle distances for Ger Lyons last year. He has been competing well recently and should again go well from his rating. Both Parkers Hill's wins have been at this trip and he comes here with obvious claims following a useful effort at Dundalk latest, when beaten just 0.5L.

A chance is taken the handicapper might have under-estimated LADY PRINCESS on handicap debut here. A half-sister to three useful winners, she improved markedly on her second start when landing a gamble to win at Bellewstown, beating a well-bred and promising newcomer into second, with the selection's stablemate and 93 rated Grammata in third. Lady Princess' jockey again claims a very helpful 5lbs and will surely go well from 82. Tar Heel is an able type and while beaten on his handicap debut in August, has since won his maiden and also ran well in useful contests. Revolutme failed to justify favouritism on handicap debut at Sligo in August but, just two days later, won at 16/1 at the Curragh. She beat today's rival Tammany Hall then and the pair are brought closer together with a 6lbs ratings swing today. Hyde Park Barracks is proving to be a disappointing type and should struggle under top weight.

Blinkers could work the oracle on GLOW WORM. Jack Davison's filly has been placed in no less than nine of her 15 appearances, including when beaten a neck into second over course and distance at the end of last month. Indeed, her record in Navan reads 232 and perhaps the first-time blinkers will eke out enough improvement for her to make the breakthrough. She has plenty to find on official ratings with 84-rated Na Blianta Beo, however, she was two and a quarter lengths in front of that rival on her last start. Na Blianta Beo is 6lbs better off today and should turn the tables but she has been a beaten favourite in her last three outings, so doesn't come without risks albeit she should be right in contention off her mark. Grey Streak drops back in trip after a fourth place over seven furlongs in Gowran Park (when backed). He has snippets of form to support his chance and can bank a cheque. Ecclesiastical and Boundless Power add further spice to the mix.

EAGLEMONT was a beaten favourite in Leopardstown but could get his compensation. He finished second over a mile and a half in Foxrock. The form doesn't look bad as the horse behind him in third came out and took a Roscommon maiden by a couple of lengths on his next start. Coltor, a son of Free Eagle, must have been showing up well at home as he went off favourite on debut at this track before finishing fifth. He kept on in the final furlong, and should be all the better for that experience as he steps up in trip. He is well worth keeping an eye on in the market. Yankee Stadium has been off for well over a year since finishing third in a maiden over a mile at Leopardstown. The market should give clues as to his chance. The 92-rated King Of The Throne has to be given respect. He was highly tried when finishing unplaced in the Irish Derby, but his close second to Galileo Chrome in a maiden over this trip at the Curragh on his penultimate start reads particularly well now. Ebony Maw is another worthy of consideration on his first crack at 10 furlongs.

Joseph O'Brien holds a very strong hand with Baron Samedi and Cerberus. The former is on a hat-trick after a short head victory in Cork and a whopping 13-length success in Down Royal last Friday. He reappears in a higher grade under the 6lb penalty and has a clear chance. The latter could make a mockery of a mark of 74 after a successful juvenile hurdle campaign that saw him win a Grade 3 and place in a couple of Grade Ones. He hasn't been out since March. However, an each-way chance is taken on SHAKE A LEG. He won over an extended mile and a half at Leopardstown on his penultimate start. He didn't cut much ice at the business end when pitched into Listed class at Navan, but has the potential to go well in this company. Multamis showed up better when a close fourth over a similar trip in Sligo and now has a first-time hood. Passing Trade, Lord Park and Kells will all have their supporters. Jim Bolger's reserves Sasta and Ivy Avenue would be dangerous if getting a run.

ROCKVIEW EMPRESS was a good keeping-on fourth on just her second start in handicaps at Bellewstown last month. Colin Keane is on board again and she should be staying on well up the hill over this stiff mile. Sienna Lady is likely to pick up a handicap or two before long, and she was a solid second at Dundalk having proven herself on turf the time before at Limerick. Neyland can get into contention having run well all summer and with a top claimer aboard, while Harry Rogers should be back amongst the winners soon as his horses have been running well and his Ben Alexander travelled well before not seeing out 12f at Bellewstown and can be a factor over this distance.

AMARANTHA is forgiven her last run where she didn't go at all on the heavy ground at Bellewstown. She was a good third on handicap debut the time before at the Curragh and, even though that form hasn't worked out, she travelled and kept on well on that occasion. A winner over this distance last season, Clifftop has been running well this term mostly over 1m2f and should go well back at this trip in a first-time visor. Loaded hasn't built on a runner-up effort at the Galway Festival but Legal Thriller has first-time blinkers and can't be ruled out given how well the Bolger horses are running. Silk Air had placed form in maidens last year and her first handicap run at Cork was not without encouragement.
