DANE FETE is an interesting newcomer from Gavin Cromwell's yard. Cromwell has a good handle on juveniles this season having saddled Quick Suzy to land the Group 2 Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot in the summer. Dane Fete holds an entry in the Irish 2,000 Guineas and, being by Kodiac, could have plenty of dash for this sprint. After three placed efforts in fillies' maidens, Past Time was pitched into Listed company at the Curragh but finished in rear. This is a fair opportunity for her to get off the mark. She has an Irish 1,000 Guineas entry. Neo Soul is going the right way with form figures of 432. He is an obvious threat for Ger Lyons and Colin Keane. Secret Magician ran a cracker for second at 66/1 in the Curragh and could build upon that.

LINUS LARRABEE travelled well at Cork but suffered a less than clear route before finishing well to be nearest at the finish in third. Juice in the ground is fine for him and he is proven over further, which will stand to him as this full field charges up the hill at Navan. Intervention kept on nicely for third in an apprentice handicap over course and distance. He is 2lb better off with Dylan Browne McMonagle's claim factored in, so this longstanding maiden has a good shout. Curraheen Princess has really turned a corner since getting off the mark at Bellewstown last month. She followed up at the Curragh last Thursday. She now runs under a 6lb penalty and it is dangerous to oppose in-form fillies. Coffeemeanscoffee, who was a place in front of Intervention earlier in the month, is another for the shortlist, along with Clara's Approach.

NOTORIOUSLY RISKY can get her turn. Fozzy Stack's filly has been placed six times in her 11-race career. Indeed, she has been runner-up on her last two starts. There is plenty of rain in the forecast and that will be to her advantage. Elanora has the same rating of 73 as Notoriously Risky and wears first-time blinkers. She is also well versed at being placed and is dropping back in trip in a bid to get a winning bracket. Mickey The Steel is experienced and has claims on the pick of his form (including when runner-up at this track). Colin Keane has been booked for Inishmot Prince and this newcomer is worth checking for market strength.

A good run from Notoriously Risky in the preceding race would bode well for SWIFT FLIGHT. The latter built upon a series of promising efforts to get off the mark at Tipperary, beating runner-up Notoriously Risky by two and a half lengths. Cut in the ground is what he wants and he should be coming home from off the pace. Huddle Up is on a fair mark and ran well in third at Naas on Sunday. Pretty Boy Floyd will welcome the forecast rain. He made all under Colin Keane at the Curragh and now has to defy top-weight of 10st 2lb. Art of Unity has two course and distance victories in his locker and can get involved. Iva Batt and Gordon Bennett are no forlorn hopes. The Peckhampouncer bounced back to form here and has claims at a track he enjoys, despite a 9lb rise.

ZOZIMUS ran a stormer for fourth in the Cambridgeshire at Newmarket. The winner of that race has since finished runner-up in a Group 3 so there should be more to come from Zozimus in handicaps off a mark of 94. That effort was on fast ground, but he is proven on rain-softened ground. He has to give weight away but could be up to the job. The more rain the better for Team Of Firsts, who ploughed through very testing ground here to win comfortably on his penultimate start. Stellium has switched to Michael Grassick after winning a Tramore maiden for Sheila Lavery. The form of that race hasn't worked out but he couldn't have done it much better. Sea Appeal failed to land a hat-trick at Gowran Park on Tuesday but he must be respected on his form before that. Bonte Moi, Prairie Dancer and Lifetime Legend are others with a shot at prize money in a deep race.

Smart hurdler JESSE EVANS was beaten half a length in this race last year and went down by the same margin to a useful three-year-old over two miles at Thurles earlier this month. With a rating of 85 on the level, he sets the bar fairly high and is a horse with plenty of boot so coming back to this trip should help him. Vinland showed ability in a decent maiden at Roscommon when staying on well over 1m4f. He should be coming home well up the hill here and is open to plenty of improvement. Hallowed Star has been in good form over hurdles in recent months and the bumper winner has a race-fitness edge on the likes of Charli Parcs and Drop The Anchor, who are higher rated in that sphere but have long layoffs to overcome.

BRIGHT FLAME could go well at a price in first-time cheekpieces. Shane Kelly will have to work his way over from a wide draw but the Big Bad Bob gelding, a winner over two miles at Tramore last term, has been getting better with each start this year and likes an ease in the ground. He ran a couple of very good races at this venue last year and looks primed for a good run. Harry Rogers has a strong hand with Bellewstown runner-up Final Endeavour and Arcland. The latter was twice runner-up over this course and distance last year before winning at the Curragh and should be all the better for a recent comeback run over an inadequate trip. Wish Me won nicely over 10f here a fortnight ago and is unexposed, but his stamina will obviously be tested over the extra half-mile.

APRILS JOY is a hardy dual-purpose mare who should get a good position from stall one. She won over this trip at Bellewstown last year and was coming home strongly when third over 1m4f at that venue last time. She'll relish stepping back up in trip and an ease in the ground will be fine for her. Talented hurdler Jeff Kidder has twice been turned over at short prices when trying to avail off what seems a lenient Flat mark. Easier ground may help and he'll have plenty of supporters again but he seems to need a hurdle in front of him to spark him up. Curragh winner Made For Minds has plenty of weight but probably has better prospects of staying the trip than recent all-weather winner Firstman, while Yamato has been in good heart over hurdles and has a chance if transferring that form back to the Flat.
