It could be a case of third-time lucky for KING OF STARS, who left his debut performance well behind when third over an extended 5f here two weeks ago. Joseph O'Brien's charge made a brave attempt to make all that day, only giving way some 150 yards out, and looks sure to go close now dropping in distance. Xian Express has placed on his last couple of starts and warrants plenty of respect with blinkers now fitted, while Nullifier, Gatwick Kitten and Linus Larrabee are other names to note.

STRONG JOHNSON is improving all the time and Kieran Cotter's recent C&D maiden scorer could take some stopping on his debut in handicap company. Shore Step arrives on the back of a narrow defeat on the beach at Laytown and should be thereabouts if able to reproduce that level of performance on his turf return, while track winners Little Clarinet and Tide Of Time cannot be ruled out either.

FACE OFF (third) is taken to reverse recent C&D form with Doonard Prince (first) and Mi Esperanza (second) and land the spoils. Charles O'Brien's inmate looked unlucky two weeks ago, when briefly short of room a furlong out before staying on tenaciously, and she can play a leading role with Declan McDonogh back in the plate. May Remain, fourth in that aforementioned event, and the dropped-in-trip Enter The Red also merit consideration.

LUSTOWN BABA battled her way to a second victory of the month when successful over 7f at Naas at the weekend, and now makes plenty of appeal going in search of hat-trick, with the drop back in trip to suit under a 6lb penalty. Cara's Company was beaten less than a length behind the selection in a Cork maiden 22 days ago and shouldn't be far away once again on her handicap debut, while Myrcella's Curragh second to the King Of Kells looks a useful piece of form and she could build on that here despite a 4lb rise for that neck reversal.

Aidan O'Brien looks to have found a winnable opportunity for his Scat Daddy colt YALE, who despite disappointing when favourite on debut at the Curragh, cost $1,000,000 as a two-year-old and is entitled to have plenty of improvement in him. Mk Drama was beaten less than a length when third in a Limerick handicap last time and is interesting back in maiden company, while the experienced Starlite Dancer drops back in trip having campaigned mainly over a mile this season.

Silver Service has been handed a 13lb rise for sluicing up at the Curragh 10 days ago and might struggle to follow up on these revised terms. Preference is instead for ALL THE KING'S MEN, a C&D scorer who lost little in defeat when third off this mark over 7f at Dundalk last Friday. Sendmylovetoyou performed creditably on her handicap bow when fourth at the Curragh recently and now reopposes her conqueror that day, Miacomet, on better terms. Mary Salome is closely matched with the latter pair and is another to bear in mind.

Gavin Cromwell's AASLEAGH FAWN returned to winning ways over track and trip last time out and is expected to defy a 4lb rise to follow up today. Bajan Excell steps up in trip after keeping on well to score over 1m3f off 3lb lower at Limerick last time and is feared most, while Full Moon Magic wasn't beaten far over 1m4f at Thurles last time and is expected to improve for this stiffer test.

LAKE MCKENZIE cost 380,000gns at Tattersalls Book 2 in October 2017 and has clearly had issues ahead of his racecourse bow. That said, he represents a top stable and is a half-brother to a Listed winner so it would be no surprise to see him make a winning debut. Pienta ran well on his return to the level when runner-up in a Gowran maiden and is likely to confirm that form with the reopposing fourth, Tidal Action, who has five lengths to find with Noel Meade's gelding.
