My Champion looks the pick of the newcomers judged on Flat ability and market support would make him interesting. However, HIGH AURA has the benefit of experience in this discipline and finished just over five lengths behind a subsequent winner when third on her racecourse debut at Stratford. A similar performance from Dan Skelton's filly may be enough to open her account, while Timely Salute may fare best of the remainder.

Having found only a useful Flat performer too strong at Worcester at the start of this month, DIAMOND WHITE could be poised to strike. Jonjo & A J O'Neill have their string in fine fettle and their five-year-old edges the vote over Getmyfriend. The daughter of Getaway is entitled to build on her third-placed hurdling bow over C&D and she isn't taken lightly. The experienced Ask Peter shouldn't be far behind judged on the pick of her form.

It's A Breeze relished a drop back in trip when recently scoring over C&D and Paddy Hanlon negates most of the 7lb penalty with his 5lb claim. Another bold bid is forecast from Paul Nicholls' charge, while reopposing second The Gypsy Davey is expected to be in the thick of the action too. That said, it could be worth taking a punt on WATCHOUTITSCOOKIE, who has posted several creditable efforts in defeat over hurdles this year and has been cut some slack on this switch to chasing.

MAKINBECON has won two of his last three starts and a 5lb rise for the latest of those victories at Market Rasen may not be enough to stop him here. That said, Man Oh Man is an obvious threat following his short-head second over C&D a month ago, while Yanka Blue edges out Saucats to be the pick of the remainder.

MUSKERRY ROCK was an easy winner off a mark of 115 over fences last time and that means that Dan Skelton's gelding has to be given the utmost respect off 10lb lower on his return to hurdling. Jager Time has improved with every start this year and is likely to be in the mix once again, while Juggernaut completes the shortlist.

EDGEWELL arrives on the back of two impressive victories in recent weeks and based on that evidence a new mark of 96 should still be workable for Nick Scholfield's gelding. However, No More No is also a prolific winner and has to be of interest following his return win at Southwell in June. Others to consider are Honey I'm Good and My Girl Katie.
