Having gone into plenty of notebooks when denied a clear run on his opening fifth at York, compensation could be on the cards for HEY UP RONNIE. Ollie Pears' gelding should have learned plenty from that experience and he's likely to prove a warm order in this weaker affair. The main danger appears to be Mojito Madness, who arrives on the back of a fair third at Epsom, while Coul Blue is the pick of the newcomers.

Feliz Navidad is entitled to build on his debut fifth at Beverley and this drop in distance may also help the son of Mondialiste. However, it's difficult to get away from DERRYGARRAN LAD, who finished a close second at Newcastle in February and a similar performance on his turf bow may prove sufficient. Although Twilight Baby may be seen to better effect once entering nursery company, she is the pick of the remainder.

STITCHING WHEEL appreciated some respite from the assessor when scoring with something in hand here last month. A 4lb rise for the four-year-old looks far from insurmountable and she's fancied to follow up, at the main expense of Lillistar. Micky Hammond's mare arrives on the back of a third at Catterick and is slightly more convincing than Billy Bathgate, who finished sixth on his reappearance at Newcastle.

AMIDST THE CHAOS won at Pontefract two starts back and was only beaten a nose into second at Doncaster a couple of weeks ago. With that in mind, the four-year-old could prove hard to beat in a race of this nature. Yafaarr is an obvious threat following his C&D win in June and third, one place behind the selection, last time out. Rajapour is also noted.

The unexposed BE PATIENT seems to have a bright future after winning on his handicap bow at Doncaster earlier in the month. That followed a Newcastle novice success last November and a new mark of 85 may still underestimate the three-year-old. Financer could fill second place once again after doing so at Carlisle most recently, while Nepal and Blue To Blue are players if back to their best.

BALDOSA got off the mark over 1m2f at Nottingham a couple of weeks ago and Nigel Tinkler's in-form filly could be hard to stop off just 2lb higher. That said, Sahm Naif also arrives on the back of a win and first-time cheekpieces may bring out further improvement, while the recent Leicester second Diamond Aura is the clear pick of the remainder.

OFF SPIN has been running well in defeat of late and only found one too good over 1m2f at Ayr most recently. Off the same mark, it would be no surprise to see Tim Easterby's gelding go one better on this occasion. Anificas Beauty's winning run came to an end last time but it is far too soon to be writing her off, while Volenti and Shifter are others to consider.
