CHESS (3) has been placed on all three runs this year, the latter when second at Fontainebleau over 3000m in a Class 2 handicap late in March. He can score from the likely main danger EPHESUS (1), who was a pleasing second at Deauville on April 8th in a Class 2 race when last appearing. HAVIASSOR (11) has been running well recently with two placed efforts and looks like the each-way must. DEMPY (12) holds strong claims each way after a recent fourth in a Class 2 handicap at this track earlier this month. BLACK SAXON (7) heads the rest.

RUMORISTE (5) was only a narrow winner at Saint-Cloud on his second start in a maiden race earlier this month and can keep progressing with race experience. He is give the nod over NEW CONNECTION (4), who score in a maiden at Fontainebleau in early March and can make the selection work hard for success. SENEQUE (3) has more experience than the two already mentioned and has the best form. He can be expected to have a say in proceedings.

PAMELA BOUM (2) could be the answer to this competitive event. She has been placed on her last two starts and is preferred ahead of MISSOURI (3), who was far from disgraced when sixth in a decent Class 3 handicap at Chantilly when last seen in late March. AUTUMN TWILIGHT (5) scored two runs back at Deauville and holds strong each-way claims. FECAMP (6) has been a tad below par this year, but remains capable and can make the top four.

The classy MANDANABA (3) should be too smart for her rivals despite an absence since finishing in the rear in the Prix Rothschild(Gr.1) last time in August. She can return with a win. Her main threat could be GODSPEED (1), who was fourth in the Prix Rothschild (Gr.1) when ahead of the selection. BRECKENBROUGH (4) has won her last two starts and solid claims in a more competitive Listed event. QUEEN'S REIGN (7) makes up the shortlist.

SYNARAN (1) won well in a Class 2 race at Chantilly when last seen in mid-March and this improving horse can get the better of another promising type in SONATINE (17), who won easily on her return to action at Saint-Cloud in a maiden race after showing promise as a juvenile. TAKE ME ON (8) won nicely on debut and is another to pay attention to on his third run in public. ALHAEBA (2) is seeking a hat-trick of wins and looks best of the remainder.

AMOUAGE (6) has shaped well to be placed on his last two starts. The latest when fourth on the PSF late in March at Chantilly in a Class 3 handicap. He can edge this over UMAMI (10), who is better than recent form figures and can bounce back to form and be competitive. HONGUEMARE (2) ran well to be fourth at Saint-Cloud last time and holds strong claims each-way. ACCLAM (1) is also worth considering despite heading the weights.

7

FLAMINGWAY (4) was a pleasing fourth in a Class 3 handicap at Fontainebleau on his only run this year. That was at the end of March and he is given the verdict over GLORY LEADER (7), who has been third on his last two starts, the latter ahead of the selection at Fontainebleau by a nose. VENDOMYA (2)could be the one to latch on to each-way. RECOLETTY (6) is another each way option after three solid efforts of late which includes a win at Le Mans two runs back on March 4th.
