Martin Todhunter's new purchase HARCAS has looked a particularly useful type when finishing second on both starts to date at Punchestown. He showed a good attitude when narrowly beaten last time out and could prove hard to beat making his debut on British soil. Fit To Fly ran a much improved race on his latest start to finish a close second at Cartmel and it would be no surprise to see him go one better this afternoon. Jim The Gent returns after a lengthy absence but could make the frame.

The hat-trick seeking VAUGHAN has been in great form since reverting back to the larger obstacles and has won his last two races with plenty in hand. He was a runaway winner at Stratford last time out and looks like the one that they all have to beat here. Commercial Express came from last to first to win over this C&D on his latest start and looks sure to give another good account. Ferdy Murphy's Caipiroska has taken well to fences and could also be involved in the shake-up.

BEGGARS CAP is an improving type and has performed well since taking to handicap company. He was a very impressive winner on his latest start at Hexham when scoring by a comfortable margin despite been eased down and should prove very hard to beat today. Middleton Dene improved for the step up in trip when winning in good style over this C&D last time out and will not go down without a fight, while Pigeon Island is a consistent type and it would be no surprise to see him involved in the shake-up.

NAE BOTHER AT ALL got off the mark in emphatic style when trouncing the opposition on his latest start at Hexham. He is a lightly raced type who is still open to improvement and with the extended trip not a worry, he should prove hard to beat. It's A Roofer also enters the race in winning form after trotting up at Hexham on his latest outing; he is clearly in good heart at the moment and looks sure to have his say. Harry Flashman suffered a narrow defeat last time out at Kelso and has place claims.

Peter Monteith's LUTEA was last seen when completing his hat-trick in gutsy fashion in a handicap hurdle at Kelso in April. He returns to fences today after a break and looks sure to go close under Timmy Murphy if fully tuned up. Yankee Holiday is likely to cause the selection most problems after winning in good style last time out over this C&D. He is a consistent individual who has made the frame in his last 10 starts and should have his say again. Lofty Leader is certainly no forlorn hope on his best form.

Paul Blockley travels a long way to field his representative TARKESAR here. He was fairly disappointing when comfortably beaten on his latest outing at Wincanton but previous placed efforts suggest that he should be a leading player today. Troodos Jet finished a reasonable fourth last time out around here and connections will be hopeful of making the frame this afternoon. It would be no surprise to see Tuscany Rose involved in the shake-up but she will have to put her recent run at here behind her.

THAT'LL DO NICELY shaped with a lot of promise when finishing a very close second at Sedgefield on his racecourse debut. He ran very green that day and further improvement should make him very hard to beat this afternoon. Still At Lunch also made a good impression when finishing second around here on his debut run and would appear to have solid place claims. Of the others, Pouilly could be one worth keeping an eye on after running respectively in point-to-points.
