Sarvi has earned a mark of 103 over timber and recently got within a neck of success on the Flat at Ayr. Her hurdling experience will help, but BEAST OF BELSTANE was an impressive winner of a bumper at Sedgefield last time and Keith Dalgleish's gelding may be capable of transferring that form to hurdling. Dalgleish also runs Never Be Enough, an 83-rated Flat performer who could be a decent recruit to these ranks.

Gordon Elliott has a 28% strike-rate at Perth through his career and looks to have another chance to add to his 182 course winners with HOLY MOTIVATION. Second under a welter burden here last month on her first start since January, she could come on for that outing and prove tough to beat. Rainy City was not disgraced over C&D last time and is 1lb lower here, while Todd went close over shorter at Bangor and is interesting if seeing out this trip.

JOHN MOR has fared reasonably well on his last couple of trips across the Irish Sea to this track, finishing a close second over timber here last month. The booking of Richard Johnson on his return to chasing certainly catches the eye here. Amalfi Doug ran well off 3lb lower here last month and has the advantage of chasing experience, while Supreme Steel's recent form over timber is lacking somewhat, but he runs off a feasible mark on his fencing bow.

Oskemen won a novice event at Uttoxeter in good style in June, but alarm bells were already ringing about his jumping when he came down at Southwell last time. CHEF DE TROUPE, in contrast, has looked rock solid over his obstacles and travelled well for a long way before finding one too good here latest. Dr Richard Newland's charge can land the spoils this time. Nayati struggled in a Listed contest at Market Rasen but his previous form in less exalted company stands him in good stead.

Though the margin of victory last time was less than a length, he was squeezed for room late on that day and that shouldn't be an issue in this field. Mustmeetalady was beaten a long way into third at Uttoxeter last time and a 2lb drop in the ratings may not be enough to see an upturn in fortunes, while Letemgo has a feather weight for this contest but has been struggling for form this year.
