ENEMENEMYNEMO performed well on his Rules debut at Southwell last month, finishing third behind a decent gelding trained by Harry Whittington, and normal improvement should put him right in the mix. Alright Sunshine is an above-average Flat performer who was deemed good enough for a Grade 2 when last sighted in this sphere at Kelso. Carry On The Magic rates best of the rest.

Overworkdunderpaid couldn't land a hat-trick when fourth at Carlisle and might need softer ground to be at his best. Glenduff is consistent but carries top weight as a result, and perhaps the in-form LANDOFSMILES can claim a third win on the bounce for Peter Bowen. The eight-year-old has thrived since being switched to 3m and with ground conditions set to suit, he can boost the yard's already impressive record at this track.

Threeunderthrufive is the obvious starting point following his respectable sixth in the Albert Bartlett. That looked a tough race as it is every year, though, and conceding upwards of 3lb to this field won't be easy. Stoner's Choice has won four of his last five but needs to improve again in order to score, and perhaps this can go the way of CASTLE RUSHEN. The six-year-old shaped like a step up in trip might help when third in Grade 2 company at Kelso, and he coped with a sounder terrain well on that occasion.

FORTESCUE bounced back to form when winning well over 3m at Sandown a month ago and Henry Daly's seven-year-old merits plenty of respect off just 6lb higher in the ratings. Francky Du Berlais has proven to be a consistent performer in his most recent outings and he should not be discounted, despite the 101-day layoff. The Wolf remains unexposed over fences and is another to consider.

Plenty of these have claims but preference is for MCGOWAN'S PASS, who has filled second place in all four of his starts since winning at Ayr in January 2020. The consistent 10-year-old remains on what should be a workable mark and his rider takes off a valuable 5lb. Historic Heart was out of his depth in the Triumph Hurdle but his previous form is very encouraging. Others to note are Serious Ego, Lively Citizen and The Bees Knees.

BELLANEY GEM got off the mark in impressive fashion with a six-length victory at Sedgefield a couple of weeks ago and she can follow up now back in handicap company. Lady Chuffnell was only denied by a neck when trying to follow up her Plumpton success at Carlisle last month and she has to be of some interest. The shortlist is completed by Graces Order, Hunny Moon and Calliope.

MOROZOV COCKTAIL picked up minor money at Doncaster most recently and may be able to go one better now sporting first-time cheekpieces. Arnica is fitted with the same headgear after picking up the bronze medal at Musselburgh and wouldn't be winning out of turn. Big runs could also be on the cards from C&D winner Onlyfoolsownhorses and A Ladies Milan, who attracted market support at Hexham last time.

ISTIMRAAR returned to a bit of form when runner-up over fences at Newcastle and although he was ultimately well held at the line, the return to 3m in this sphere could benefit him. Champagne Lilly picked up minor money off this mark at Huntingdon and can fight it out with recent Carlisle winner Lissen To The Lady for the silver medal, although C&D winner Presence Felt is also worth a market check now eased in grade.
