It's hard to look past CHANGE THE GAME in the opener. Having cost $550,000, Saeed bin Suroor's colt showed plenty of ability after fluffing the start when a close-up second at Wolverhampton and has the size and scope to make up into a useful sort after looking very green that day. He should go one better in this moderate maiden, possibly at the main expense of The Excel Queen, who made the frame in a Redcar nursery over 1m off a mark of 60. Argyle disappointed last time but showed signs of ability first time out at Windsor.

The drop in trip did the trick for YORKEE MO SABEE when he landed a gamble in good style over C&D and Mark Johnston's Teofilo colt could prove hard to catch off an opening mark of 83 if allowed to dictate again. If he's hassled for the lead by the hat-trick seeking Tikthebox, impressive Catterick maiden scorer Ormskirk could pick up the pieces, and Noble Peace has to be of interest too.

If LOVELY MEMORY transfers the form of her Chelmsford success to turf, she will be hard to beat on her handicap debut. The Godolphin filly, who returned from nearly a year off with a demolition job over 1m on Polytrack, is clearly useful and looks more than capable off an opening mark of 87. Should she not take to grass (well beaten on sole turf start first time out), Iconic could be the one to capitalise following a good second at Ascot when leading home her group on the far side. Pallister is another to consider after two near-misses.

Mighty Missile was last seen winning a novice hurdle in July and is respected back on the level, although he has yet to score in 10 attempts in this sphere. As a result, the vote goes to SAINT LUCY, who got off the mark when upped to a similar trip (2m1f) at Bath, form which has been boosted by the third scoring since, and Brendan Powell's filly is unexposed over this sort of distance. Medicine Hat is a decent hurdler and should find this yardage much more suitable than the 1m2f he tackled at Redcar last month.

TANAWAR, unpenalised for winning an apprentice handicap at Redcar seven days earlier, scored with a enough in hand over this trip at Carlisle last month to suggest he can complete the hat-trick off a 6lb higher mark. However, Ruth Carr's charge has no margin for error, with Ivors Involvement only 3lb higher in the ratings than when scoring at Salisbury latest and Stardrifter knocking on the door of late.

Saeed bin Suroor has his string in sparkling form at present and he can add to his tally here courtesy of YOURS TRULY. Off the mark over 1m2f at Lingfield latest, she could well get a soft lead now stepping up in trip again and remains unexposed. Ingleby Hollow is knocking hard on the door (second on his last four starts) but continues to rise in the ratings and a bigger threat may be posed by facile Beverley winner Cassandane, who has a 10lb hike to contend with but did the job in style.

AMAZING SPEED and Dinaria appear the ones to concentrate on. The latter has found only one too good on her last two starts and finished ahead of a subsequent scorer on her penultimate outing, but the Godolphin representative sets the standard with her narrow handicap defeats at Newmarket and Bath. She finished 10 lengths clear of third last time out and a repeat performance should suffice. Newcomer Somethingthrilling would be of interest if the market vibes are positive.
