Ingleby Symphony stayed on well to score over a furlong shorter at Ayr but this will test her staying powers even more, while Scepticism also steps up in trip after a couple of modest third-placed efforts. Mutamiz stayed well to take second over 10f here last time but a chance is taken on TOPAMICHI rediscovering his Carlisle winning form. A disappointing favourite at Nottingham over 10f last time, he was too keen early on in that race and if he settles better here, he could strike.

Medici Dancer went close in a four-runner affair at Newcastle but hasn't been dealt the best hand with the draw here, while stablemate Faffa looks better drawn but needs to step up on his debut effort at York. Support for Art Storm would be interesting on his debut for Richard Fahey, but preference is for DIVINE REWARD, who was not far away at 100-1 on his debut at Salisbury and could come on for that outing.

BREEZOLINI is at his best when the mud is flying and ran a cracker off this mark to take second at Ayr last time. He is preferred over Dickie's Lad, who was one place further back at Ayr but does have a 1lb pull, and Planetex, who ran a decent race at Nottingham last time. Dorback and Oldjoesaid are capable of mixing it if finding something close to their best form.

Willie The Whipper was an emphatic winner on his Hamilton debut and with a stout pedigree on the dam's side, he could improve for the step up in trip. Top Notch Tonto won a competitive nursery at Ayr but hasn't necessarily looked up to this grade before, so OASIS CANNES gets the vote. Sir Mark Prescott's colt took a nursery at Newmarket before finishing second in a Listed race in France and he could land the spoils here. Pearl Reward, an eight-length victor over C&D last month, also figures on the shortlist.

It's possible the application of blinkers to TARANTELLA LADY could spark a resurgence in George Moore's filly. The four-year-old has struggled since her win at Redcar in June, but she's only 2lb higher in the weights than for that success now and acts on soft ground. Jawaab is chasing a hat-trick of Pontefract staying victories but has been raised a total of 15lb for the first two, while Spanish Fork struck over hurdles at Stratford recently and may relish this staying test.

THE TIGER was beaten less than two lengths into fourth in a Newmarket handicap over this trip last time and the handicapper may be proved wrong for dropping him 1lb for that effort. Kathleen Frances got back to something like her best form this term when third at Redcar latest, while Follow The Flag tends to hold his form remarkably well so cannot be ignored after two solid efforts at Nottingham this month.

Cheveton can never be ruled out on his favoured soft ground, but his recent effort at Haydock was a shade disappointing, while My Son Max ran well to score at Wolverhampton but may prefer a faster surface. Victoire De Lyphar hinted at a resurgence at Ayr last time, but preference is for BOUNCY BOUNCY, who has run well at this track in the past and hinted that a stiff 5f would be ideal when third at Nottingham last time.
