Sensational Secret ran an encouraging race from the front on her debut at Beverley and can improve for that experience here. A repeat of those tactics might play into the hands of TEBA MATEBA, though, as that rival is drawn next next door and tracked the pace when finishing a solid fourth at Wetherby first time out. Hope Cove is respected after showing improvement at Doncaster, and any market support behind Dance Alone or Bint Kodiac would be worth noting.

HALEY BOP was unsuccessfully tried over seven furlongs in a competitive Newmarket maiden earlier this month, but was much closer over this trip at Haydock on debut and can get back on track. Magical Spring can do better with a run under his belt but might be vulnerable to the newcomer Dolphin Vista, who fetched 32,000 euros in April, and the 65,000-euro yearling Learning Curve.

Akeed Champion had a future winner in arrears when just missing out at Newcastle and looks a big player if repeating that effort here. KHAREER is marginally preferred, though, as he wasn't knocked about once his chance was gone in a hot race at Salisbury and is expected to improve for that experience. Avalanche Express wasn't beaten by far when making his first start back in March and is also considered.

VALANTINO OYSTER was claimed by current connections after he made all over track and trip earlier this month. A repeat of that effort would make him tough to stop, but Conry had little chance when drawn wide in a competitive Chester claimer latest and might be worth another try. The Osteopath appreciated the drop into plating company when winning at Newcastle in May and might be able to give a better account this time.

The penalised Ronya looks ideally drawn if wanting to repeat the front-running tactics that served her well at this venue recently, and she has to feature near the top of the shortlist. Mawaseel might not let her have her own way in front, though, and perhaps FIRST SARGEANT can track that duo after winning a Wetherby apprentice race from the same mark earlier this month. Big Storm Coming was denied a clear run in a stronger handicap when last sighted and completes the shortlist.

GUN CASE has been revitalised by a step up in trip the last twice and split a pair of future winners when taking second spot at Newmarket in June. He gets the vote over Lovely Surprise, who couldn't land a blow in the Sandringham but should find this a much more realistic assignment. Wardat Dubai was able to dictate affairs when getting off the mark at Beverley, but might not get her own way in front with Father Bertie in the lineup, while any market support behind Spryt could prove noteworthy.

It might be worth following GREY DESTINY who arrives fresh from a confidence boosting success in a Catterick seller where he had the reopposing Eland Ally in arrears in third. The fitting of blinkers might bring improvement from Strategic Order, who remains a maiden but has dropped considerably in the weights. A J Cook wasn't beaten by far at Thirsk and it is interesting to see cheekpieces reapplied, while a big run from Tango Sky or Farrah's Choice wouldn't come as a huge surprise.

RUN FAT LASS RUN held on gamely when hitting the front early enough at Carlisle on Sunday and can land the double if this race doesn't come too soon. Jebel Tara couldn't quite hold on when going agonisingly close at Leicester and looks capable of getting on the premises again. Scrutiny ended a long losing run Beverley on Tuesday and could go well again despite carrying a 6lb penalty.
