It should pay to side with JUST LIKE HEAVEN, for whom the penny appears to have dropped. After three modest efforts, he put in a much-improved display to take a close third over this trip at Redcar a week ago. A repeat performance now he's back in maiden company should be good enough to land the spoils. Oddysey has finished third in her two starts to date but was well held both times and needs to improve. On The Hoof looks to be improving and could go close, while Sygnature can also be given a chance.

Most of these can be given a chance but slight preference is for the in-form KOO AND THE GANG. He's won three of his last five starts, including scoring in this grade at Redcar, and was a shade unlucky when caught close home over a mile at Ascot off this mark last time. He's good enough to land this if things go his way. Don't Call Me, who landed a hat-trick last summer, appears to be running back into form and looks the danger, although chances can also be given to Extraterrestrial, Prince Of Dance and Carlisle Bell scorer Miami Gator.

Tajneed, who won this back in 2008, loves this track and has turned in some good efforts recently but may have too much weight now. Waffle has finished second three times this term and is another to consider but might be anchored under top weight. Top honours can go to sprint king Dandy Nicholls and his prolific scorer TAX FREE. The Stewards' Cup runner-up, who boasts a 33 per cent strike-rate, looks best over the minimum trip but has plenty of good form over 6f and is well weighted on the pick of his efforts.

After breaking his duck at Sandown on his third start, VERBEECK was a close and running-on third in this grade over 5f at Musselburgh latest. With further improvement on the cards and stepped up to a more suitable trip, he looks the one to be on. Ralphy Boy has won both starts to date but just got home both times and is up in class now. Hot Sugar and Jessie's Spirit both won on debut but have much more on their plates, while Windsor maiden scorer Son Du Silence also needs to raise his game a little.

In a wide-open affair it might pay to stick with HOT ROD MAMMA, who is chasing a four-timer and appears to act over varying trips and going. She's gone up 26lb since scoring over 7f at Catterick last month and carries another 8lb for her recent Carlisle success, but won easily that day and is difficult to oppose in this mood. Kenyan Cat is on a hat-trick after two wins over this trip at Chester but has plenty on her plate here, while Izzy The Ozzy is up in class but looks open to plenty of improvement.

Surely This Time has been running in handicap company and must be considered back in a maiden but looks fairly exposed now, while Guinea Seeker, also back in maiden company, has had his chances. Salik Tag looks on the upgrade after two starts but has plenty to find here and is passed over in favour of HILLS OF DAKOTA, who showed plenty of promise when fifth over a mile at Thirsk on his debut last month. The switch to the minimum trip should be noted and there's every reason to believe he has the ability to score here.

An open affair in which the lightly-raced KORNGOLD gets the vote. He showed little in three runs last year but has improved with every outing this, scoring over today's 1m4f trip at Chepstow last month. He's up 6lb for that but scored with plenty in hand and we may not have seen the best of him just yet. Number Theory only got up by a short head at Haydock and another 4lb may anchor him now, while Alfouzy is improving but looks flattered by her form figures. Countrywide Flame has scored three times this year but may have too much weight now.
