Arabian Spirit comes out best on these terms and he has to be of interest dropping into a claimer. He has not been at his best in two runs this year though, so slight preference is for MCCONNELL who has recorded eight of his 10 career wins over this C&D. Jack's Revenge also has winning form here and although he has a little bit to find on ratings it would not be the biggest surprise to see him go well.
Arabian Spirit is better class than these at best, but he was well beaten on his only previous try on this surface and arrives here on the back of a few lacklustre efforts, so it may pick to stick with course specialist McConnell. Jack's Revenge and Fluctuation are others that are unlikely to be far away.

STORM MOON ran out an impressive winner on his debut at Musselburgh and providing he takes to the Fibresand he can make it two from two here. Woodland Mill won the first juvenile race of the year at Kempton last month and she rates the most obvious danger to Mark Johnston's representative. Poetic Princess should find an opening before long but she comes up against two very useful prospects this evening.
Storm Moon and Woodland Mill both impressed in their respective debut wins and look the 2 to concentrate on, with narrow preference for the former.

KINGAROO bounced back to form to score over 1m3f here last week and a reproduction of that effort might be good enough to see him win again here despite a 6lb penalty. Ostentation finished runner-up to him on that occasion but he has since disappointed at Wolverhampton so Bring Sweets could pose a bigger threat. Dunaskin has place prospects and Harare is worthy of consideration on his first run for David O'Meara.
Bring Sweets shaped well over 1m here last time and can return to winning ways back up to a more suitable trip. First-time blinkers might help Ostentation and he may prove the biggest danger, while Dunaskin can run into a place. Money for Lava Steps would be interesting.

MAPPIN TIME made a pleasing reappearance over 5f at Wolverhampton earlier this month and with the step up to 6f likely to suit, he can play a leading role this evening. Gorgeous Goblin won with a bit in hand over 5f here last week and the extra furlong is no problem so she can go well again despite a 6lb penalty. Jeannie Galloway should act on this surface and she definitely has claims on her best form.
Mappin Time made a pleasing return to the fray when a fast-finishing fourth at Wolverhampton recently. He ran well on his only previous try on this surface and could prove too strong for Masai Moon and Dancing Freddy.

Crowning Star is at the top of his game at present but he has gone up 10lb for recent wins at Wolverhampton and Lingfield and this surface provides a different test. FENNELL BAY has not really gone on as expected since winning a Nottingham maiden in October last year but he still has time on his side and his stable has a very good record here. Travis County is entitled to strip fitter for his reappearance effort at Wolverhampton earlier this month and he should not be overlooked.
Crowning Star arrives in top form and is taken to land the hat-trick on his first start on fibresand. Fennell Bay is likely to prove the biggest danger if bouncing back from a poor reappearance.

HITS ONLY JUDE was not totally disgraced at Pontefract last time and he acts well on this surface so it might be worth taking a chance on him off 1lb lower than his last winning mark. Jupiter Fidius ran well enough on his seasonal debut at Newcastle last week and he looks the sort to take to this surface so he is worthy of a place on the shortlist, with Somerset Island and Rub Of The Relic also considered.
Somerset Island won over C&D last time and remains open to improvement, so is taken to get the better of Hits Only Jude and Jupiter Fidius.

Bonnie Prince Blue scored over this C&D earlier this month and he commands respect despite a 7lb rise but GRACIE'S GIFT gets a tentative verdict. She has been performing with credit over 6f here of late and the step up to 7f might be ideal.
Only Ten Per Cent can complete the hat-trick. Adam de Beaulieu is a C&D winner and returns from a break on a decent mark, so could prove the biggest danger.
