FAUSTINA PIUS sets a good standard for John Queally and should be able to make his presence felt if running up to a mark of 102. Third in a decent Kilbeggan contest last time out, the five-year-old should be well suited by this extra yardage with underfoot conditions expected to play to her strengths. Mutiska is open to stacks of improvement after just two starts in this sphere and she's noted, along with Rhinestone Cowgirl.

SHAMAR finished a neck second in a novice hurdle event at the Galway Festival when last sighted and should be able to successfully give weight to these rivals. The Dr Frong gelding has shown enough promise in three starts over timber this year to suggest he can go onto bigger and better things for Willie Mullins. Lord Ben is rated 24lb inferior but is expected to put up most resistance, while King High and Venture Lazarus complete the quartet, though may have to settle for a supporting role.

Impressive Kilbeggan winner Ballyspellan Lad is up 8lb in the ratings and is expected to go off a warm order for this handicap. He must shoulder top weight, though, and is opposed with AMBUSH ANGEL. A bumper winner here over the distance on debut, connections will have garnered much encouragement from her latest Downpatrick performance off a 1lb lower mark and the first-time cheekpieces should help. Cheap As Chips completes the shortlist.

Three last-time-out winners head to post for what looks a competitive heat and ZANE GREY gets the verdict. Henry De Bromhead's inmate impressed when exploiting an 11lb lower mark over the distance at Wexford last month and the lightly-raced Flemensfirth gelding is open to much more improvement. Line View is a course bumper scorer and he's up 7lb for his latest Limerick win, while Magnetic Force is also taken seriously.

GOODOLDHONKYTONK brings some useful maiden hurdle form to the table on her chase debut and her readiness for this assignment is assured representing Henry De Bromhead. The Oscar mare has clearly been showing up well in the schooling ring at home and, in receipt of weight all round, she boasts strong claims. Raajih is winless in seven starts over the larger obstacles but he'll be thereabouts if running up to a mark of 110, while Cloone Springs is another interesting contender.

BAIZICALLY is up 2lb for what was a much improved Cartmel performance last time and Shark Hanlon's charge won't have to improve a great deal to land the spoils here. Mugged near the line over 3m2f on that occasion, he's expected to make this a real test from the front with the ease in the ground expected to play to his strengths. Old Supporter has been handed 5lb for his successful Wexford exploits just over three weeks ago, but Davy Russell is booked for Naughty Molly and she's feared most.

WAYLANDER has shown enough in recent starts at Cork and Roscommon to suggest a bumper of this nature is within his grasp and prior experience will no doubt stand him in good stead here. The Hurricane Run gelding can land the finale after appearing to bump into something special in Devils Bride last time. Bluemountainbeach couldn't justify favouritism at Wexford last time but she's clearly held in high regard, while it could be worth keeping Well Tuned onside.
