KOKOTE (13) can prove tricky but she has a lot of ability and can win a race of this caliber if she stays smart throughout. She can be slightly preferred to Italian import ERICA JET (2) who will not be long before winning a race in France. KIVALA RENARDIER (14) has been flying of late and has probably more to offer. RAGAZZA DU CHENE (1) won well last time and is another one to take very seriously.

Very much an open affair this but it is hard to ignore how well GYS (12) won over course and distance in early-January and, barefoot again, he can repeat provided that Franck Nivard keeps him trotting. Much improved under similar conditions just over 3 weeks ago, GRAZY (13) is reunited with Jean-Michel Bazire who will be looking to go closer this time. Good 3rd under the saddle last time out, GAZETTA DE LOU (4) races shod as she was when winning here last November and must be taken seriously. In form and with Eric Raffin in the wagon, GREC D'HAVAROCHE (6) also starts on the front line and is sure to garner support.

Very unlucky not to have finished closer here last week, KOELHO DE NAPPES (7) is hard to fault over these shorter trips and can impose if Alessandro Gocciadoro keeps him out of trouble. Compatriot ECLISSI BFC (12) has yet to get around Vincennes unscathed but nevertheless showed his form in late-January and, with application, will have his chances. RED D'OVER (14) left a very good impression on his recent Vincennes bow and Raffin maintaining faith speaks volumes. KAIROS DE BOMO (3) got back in the game here 3 weeks ago and the draw will do his prospects no disservice.

Unbeaten in his last five starts here this winter, FACE TIME (6) has simply gone from strength to strength. He defeated the excellent GANAY DE BANVILLE (11) in the Gr.3 Prix du Luxembourg and looks capable of doing so again, however a well-behaved GASPAR D'ANGIS (10) should prove superior to JMB's charge. HORSY DREAM (12) is a high-class trotter with nothing to prove at this level and will be dangerous if Pierre Belloche keeps him trotting.

An excellent race in prospect this with some of the biggest hitters in the business taking on the fine IDEALE DU CHENE (15) who has been knocking at the door lately. Opposition will be led by JEAN BALTHAZAR (13) who bids for the hat-trick, the classy KALIF LANDIA (6) who races with modified shoeing for the occasion, and the padded and in-form INA DU RIB (14) who has won 2 of 3 under these conditions.

Unbeaten in 3 starts over the main track this year, HYMNE DU GERS (12) steps up in class but, in current form, looks very hard to beat. Given a rest after failing to fire here 2 months ago, HERADAMES (15) benefits from a good entry and, if behaved, can apply the pressure on the favourite. GARDNER SHAW (10) has just one race under his belt since the break but is barefoot for the occasion and will be no soft touch. FLEURON D'ACADIE (14) has already won under these conditions this term and, barefoot again, will have his chances.

Quite simply magnificent this season, IDAO DE TILLARD (9) has swept all before him this winter and looks set to cement his case as the world's best trotter. Opposition will hail from the ultra-consistent KEENAN DE JOUDES (1) who has earned his step up to Gr.1 level, and Gr.1 Prix Ourasi runner-up, KSAR (4). KARLITO (2) finished a place behind him that day and is similarly in the running for a place in the frame.

Established over 3000m here and back in shape following some health issues, GRANVILLAISE BLEUE (11) reassured in the Gr.1 Prix de l'Ile-de-France and a similar effort would see her win this. That said, Camille Levesque will be keeping an eye on ESPERANZA IDOLE (9) who sprang quite the surprise when winning the Prix de Cornulier, and her runner-up HIRONDELLE DU RIB (10) who rarely disappoints when applied. EDITION GEMA (8) has turned a corner lately and deserves to have a go at the hat-trick.

KEEP GOING (10) won the Gr.3 Prix d'Avignon with consummate authority a month back and, barefoot this time after having freshened up with front pads fitted, has every chance of doubling his money. Runner-up to him that day before turning the tables next time out, KALMIA QUICK (11) will not go down without a fight. KEEP YOUR DREAMS (7) was never at his ease last time out but has talent in spades and will appreciate a return to 2700m. KOBAYASHI (13) is very hard to knock when focused and, racing first-time barefoot, could yet play the role of spoiler.

HEROS NUEVO (7) has won four times and been placed twice in six starts in this amateur division. He is a course & distance winner earlier this year and looks the one they all have to beat. HUGO D'HERTALS (5) should have come on from his good comeback run in the Netherlands and is a definite player. The consistent GERGOVIE QUESNOT (6) is a must for the shortlist. Watch out for HAUCKLAND (3) who is back on form.
