Positive tactics saw ESCAPE PLAN get off the mark at Kempton last month and he may prove hard to catch off just 3lb higher in the ratings. Viking Glory had a tongue-tie added when he ended his time under the tutelage of Adrian Keatley with a respectable third at Newcastle. Market support on his first start in a handicap/debut for James Owen would be interesting. Eightthreeone and Medyg are others to consider.

Beauty Box offered plenty of encouragement on her opening fourth at Newmarket and she should put that experience to good use. However, there are some intriguing newcomers on show, with ROXELINA topping the bill. A sister to dual Listed winner Holguin, the Havana Grey filly could be tough to overhaul if sharing the same ability. Fellow debutant Girl Scout is another who warrants close inspection in the betting.

Heraldry made a successful start to his three-year-old campaign at Kempton last month and he looks to hold a bright future. That said, a 7lb penalty demands more of the Gosdens' charge and DECADE OF TIME is preferred on these terms. The Study Of Man colt caught the eye on his debut third at Newbury 16 days ago and a repeat performance may prove sufficient. Kahin, who cost 240,000gns, is an appealing newcomer to check in the betting market, while Bemersyde is open to improvement.

Second over 7f on a couple of occasions at the end of last season, CRAZEE ICON was doing her best work at the finish once again on last month's reappearance at Newmarket. Andrew Balding's filly looks ready for this step up in distance and can take advantage of the drop in class. Jamie Sommers had no issue seeing out the trip when third over a mile at Nottingham recently. She could be thereabouts off an unchanged mark, while Tough Date is worth a second look now handicapping.

STRIKE finished a creditable second at Bath on his return to the fray. The son of Lethal Force has his favoured underfoot conditions, having recorded all four victories to date on good to firm, and last season's narrow defeat here offers further encouragement. Last month's Kempton winner Expert Agent returns to the turf off a potentially lenient mark, while Golden Long has returned the beaten favourite in both starts for his new yard and this return to 6f could suit.

Staniel Cay won nicely at Nottingham last time. He could feature again, while Blue Deveron finished a close third at Southwell on his handicap bow and debuts on the turf off an unchanged mark. OVERBUDGET has found one too good in all three starts so far, including her comeback run at Wolverhampton in March. The daughter of Mehmas will be sharper for that pipe-opener and looks on a workable mark if a first-time tongue strap has the desired effect.

Masqool hasn't been at his best lately with an eighth at Wolverhampton last month but he races off 2lb lower now on his return to the turf and has won 10 times off higher marks, making him worth consideration here. BRIDGE strolled home over hurdles at Fontwell in late March and if he can continue that improvement on the Flat, he could surprise for the Moore stable who are adept with their dual purpose horses. Beachborough Girl is consistent and is another to at least consider.

Man From Havana makes his handicap debut off a mark of 65 and, if the step up to a mile and a quarter helps, he could go close with Hollie Doyle an eye-catching jockey booking. GONE ROGUE has been running well with a neck second at Bath following his Brighton victory, and another 2lb from the handicapper may not be enough to stop him winning for the fourth time. Moonlit Cloud can only improve after his first start in six months and could also mount a challenge.
