OMANY AMBER returns to a track where she has registered three of her four wins and, after performing respectably in a higher grade at Pontefract last time, the Karl Burke-trained filly is given the edge. End Zone arrives on the back of a close second at Newcastle on his latest start and rates a danger, while Paddyplex was successful on Tapeta in his younger days and may also figure.

The obvious one in this contest is the in-form Boy George, who only narrowly failed to hang on at Chelmsford four days ago, and he looks set to go well again despite being burdened with a wide draw. However, the performance put up by STAND FREE over course and distance last time certainly caught the eye, finishing her race well having been left with plenty to do, and the four-year-old may prove to be a better proposition at the likely odds. Harbour Project attracted plenty of support and offered much more over C&D on his latest start and is also worth noting.

A race that in all likelihood will be dominated by AL BAREZ and Forca Brasil, who have already posted useful form and should have more to offer. The former travelled well when winning readily at Yarmouth last month and is narrowly favoured over his rival, with his extra run and race fitness likely to play a crucial role in proceedings. Forca Brasil should make him work however, having scored with something in hand in a strong Newmarket novice event in April. Fristel improved when third over course and distance last time and looks next best.

THE LAMPLIGHTER only went down narrowly over C&D earlier in the month and the son of Elusive City can land a second victory of the season today. Youllovemewheniwin would be a big player if bouncing back to the form of his victory over track and trip in August, while course-regular Mutabaahy cannot be overlooked either. Wudashudacuda completes the shortlist on his first start for new connections.

Only a nose separated Chipiron (first) and WINKLEVI (second) when they last met over C&D in July, and it is the latter who is taken to overturn the form courtesy of a 1lb swing at the weights. A winner since in Jersey, the six-year-old remains relatively unexposed as a stayer and he is preferred to the likes of Liverpool Knight and Basic Beauty. Overhaugh Street (first) had the better of Sophar Sogood (second) at Chester last month and both are likely to enter the reckoning here.

NIGHT ON EARTH was rated as high as 89 as a juvenile last year for Andrew Balding but there were encouraging signs when winning at Chester back in August. The son of Koadiac merits plenty of respect for his new connections. C&D winner Charming Kid can give the selection most to think about, while all-weather specialist Outrage is another to note.

ELTHAM PALACE has made the frame off this mark in her last couple of starts and this appears to be an ideal opportunity for the four-year-old to get off the mark. Born To Sire was not disgraced at Yarmouth last time and he should be in the mix once again, while For Love Of Louise and Hammy End are others to note.

Oot Ma Way has to be respected having won twice in recent months but further improvement is required to make it a hat-trick today. With that in mind, preference is for BEAU GESTE, who ran well when finishing third in a decent event at Brighton last time and he is 1lb lower this evening. The shortlist is completed by Scarborough Castle and Day Trader.
