This won't take a great deal of winning and EBBLE looks to have been found a gilt edged opportunity to open her account. John Gosden's has shaped with a great deal of promise in her three starts so far and a repeat of her recent Chepstow third should be enough to see her prove too strong for recent Bath runner-up Crazy Too. The exposed Levi Draper can prove best of the rest.

Dreadful fare and only a modest vote can go the way of WINDFORPOWER, who caught the eye when running on well from the rear to finish fifth over 5f at Beverley recently. A repeat performance should at least see him lay down a bold challenge, with a return to form bringing Ouzinkie and Special Report into the mix.

CLEAR PRAISE returned to form with a fine second here on Saturday night and he could be worth keeping onside now. The 5-y-o has a fine record on this surface and should get the strong pace he desires this afternoon. R Woody returns to this surface having chased home Ajjaad in a competitive sprint at Leicester recently while Macdillon warrants plenty of credit for his recent consistency and shouldn't be far away again.

Strada Facendo should have gleaned plenty of confidence from his Folkestone maiden win two weeks ago and a bold showing here would not surprise, while Fast Finian has been in splendid form on this surface in recent months and will be high on plenty of shortlists again. There is sure to be plenty of interest around the returning Electrician, who looked a smart juvenile last term but hasn't been seen since finishing last of nine in a Group 3 at Newmarket a year ago. A market check is advisable for him while Solar Deity should appreciate returning to this surface. However, in a wide-open contest, a chance is taken on CANTAL, who ran really well to finish third at Kempton last time and she could still prove well handicapped following some promising efforts so far this year.

Zaahya could yet prove well treated if handling this step step up in trip but the more solid option would appear to be BLUE DUNE. Mark Johnston's 3-y-o has been in knocking on the door of late and proved he gets this trip well enough when finishing strongly to take second spot here on Saturday. The selection looked a shade unlucky on that occasion, having been denied a clear run at a crucial stage, and she can make amends now. Mahayogin might prove best of the rest.

A really good maiden for the track with the 83-rated Star For Life and the 80-rated INFINITUM setting the standard. The former was disappointing when last seen at Newmarket back in June so, with match fitness on her side, preference is for John Gosden's filly who ran a cracker to finish second in a competitive handicap at HQ only ten days ago. She looks to be going the right way now and connections will be keen to see this smartly-bred filly open her account. Tadmir and Moonship both return having shaped with bits and pieces of promise in back end maidens last year, while Homeric went close to opening his account at Pontefract recently and shouldn't be too far away again.
