FAMOUS STAR kept on at the one pace over the extended 1m1f when third here last month and promises to be suited by the step up in distance. Her maiden success came over 1m4f at Lingfield and this trip could unlock further improvement. Oceanline won't go down without a fight and arrives race-fit following three runs over timber towards the back end of last year. General Zoff is another to note.

NOLTON CROSS outran odds of 66/1 on debut at Kempton, finishing a close-up fourth, and proved that was no fluke when a half-length second at Newcastle last time. There should be more to come and he gets the nod ahead of Love Mystery, a very creditable second on debut at Southwell last month. Chances are also given to Letter Of The Law and First Dynasty.

NIGHT GLASS produced a career-best effort on his debut for Marco Botti at Kempton last month, finishing a close-up second over 1m and suggesting the step up in trip would suit. He rates the one to be on in this contest, though a big run from Achnamara would come as no surprise as he goes handicapping for the first time off a workable mark. Themoonsaballoon edges out State Legend as the pick of the remainder.

ROBBIE ROGER has produced two creditable efforts in defeat since going handicapping and he stuck to the task well over 1m at Newcastle last time, so should appreciate the extra yardage on offer here. Add to that the son of Galileo Gold has been dropped 1lb in the handicap and everything points to a bold showing. Naughty Nadine and Brown Mouse can also make their presence felt.

CLIPSHAM TIGER could be the answer in a tricky contest having landed a 1m event at Chelmsford in the autumn, before a good effort off his revised mark over 1m2f at that same track the following month. Chillsea enjoyed a productive end to last year, but Tom Ward's filly had to settle for a midfield finish at Southwell on Saturday. Never Said Nothing rates best of the rest.

Global Warning was doing his best work at the finish when second over 6f at Lingfield last time and should appreciate this extra furlong, but preference is for PARALLEL WORLD, who scored over this C&D early last month. He was too keen before running out of gas late on off his revised mark at Chelmsford subsequently, but he is 1lb lower this evening and the dual course winner clearly likes it here. Aljari also has winning form at this venue and is slipping back down to a workable mark.

KENSTONE hinted his turn may be near again when staying on for a decent fourth after being hampered over this track and trip last month, form which has been boosted by the first and fifth scoring since. Adrian Wintle's charge has subsequently been eased another 2lb by the handicapper and boasts previous winning form over this C&D. Distinction is another beginning to look fairly treated again and the application of a first-time visor may aid his cause, while an opening mark of 47 gives Zero Hour a chance as she steps up in trip on her handicap bow.
