The 95-rated RAKAAN went down by just a nose in a Folkestone claimer when last sighted and should be up to landing this if in a similar mood. He's drawn well enough over the 7f in stall two and, while forced to give weight to the majority of the field, class should tell where it matters most. Of the others, Lockantanks has been handed a confidence-boosting opportunity in this company and can't be overlooked along with Beckermet and Fathsta.

Keep a close eye on the market in regards to the chances of the well-bred newcomers North Pole and Superoo for their respective shrewd connections, but PUTERI NUR LAILA responded to the first-time blinkers when contesting a C&D maiden nine days ago and a similar display should be good enough at the seventh time of asking. Others to note include Red Diesel and Grace Hull.

Ryan Tate takes off a useful 7lb aboard Stripped Bear, who went well in a C&D claimer the last day, but MANDY LAYLA couldn't be drawn better in stall one over this minimum distance and her front-running style will suit. Bryan Smart's charge has struggled over 6f in competitive nurseries at Chester throughout September but she sets the standard, rated 78, and should regain the winning thread. Marmot Bay rates pick of the remainder.

For all English Summer impressed on the turf at Lingfield last month, he's yet to prove his worth on the all-weather surface so it could be worth siding with FINITY RUN. Mark Johnston's charge readily broke her duck in a Beverley seller 11 days ago and, pitched back into the handicap ranks for this assignment, she may yet show more improvement on her all-weather debut. Peachez is another to take seriously.

Roman Senate has been knocking on the door of late and he looks sure to play a leading role here but a tentative verdict goes the way of RHOSSILI BAY. She looked a shade unlucky on her handicap debut here last time and if she can build on that effort, she can make her presence felt this evening. Rokcella is interesting on her handicap debut and the same comment applies to Langham Lily.

PROGENITOR won well at Kempton on his handicap debut and he posted another decent effort when runner-up over 7f here last time. The step up in trip should suit and he could prove a tough nut to crack tonight. Clock On Tom has solid claims on the form of his Musselburgh second last month. Gabrial The Boss was bitterly disappointing having been very well supported at Brighton last time but he is evidently thought capable of better. Sand Grouse, Tomway and Day In Day Out are also respected.

MOATAZ has been struggling on turf of late but the return to polytrack can help and he is not impossibly handicapped on his best form. Darren Egan's 5lb claim is another positive. Glass Mountain could go well if putting his best foot forward and he makes the shortlist along with the in form Fame Again. Aciano has place prospects and Justbookie Dot Com has claims even though this is tougher than the seller he won here last time.

FASTNET STORM had to settle for second best at Pontefract last time but he remains nicely handicapped on his best form and looks sure to run a big race this evening. Midas Moment is not the most consistent but she can take a hand if producing her best form. Tiradito will be interesting if turned out again after finishing second at Southwell on Thursday and Loyal N Trusted also makes the shortlist.
