BLUE ROCKS stayed on well to win over 5f here in April and the step back up to 6f will not be a problem for this three-year-old. The main danger is likely to be Kings Heart based on his narrow C&D defeat last week and he arrives here 4lb well in this afternoon. Bearag has shown her best form on the Tapeta and is the pick of the remainder.

MAGGI MAY has been knocking on the door of late and the form of her recent second-placed finish over C&D will be tested in the first race today as the winner (Blue Rocks) runs in that event. Dream Ally has been running well for a considerable amount of time now and he cannot be discounted this afternoon. Others to note are Camino, Harpers Ruby and Swendab.

DANDILION's most recent performances have suggested that another win may be around the corner for this four-year-old and she arrives here only 1lb above her last winning mark, which came over this C&D. Recent Chelmsford winner Seneca Chief has to be given the utmost respect despite carrying a 6lb penalty for that success, given that he is still 4lb well in. Percy Toplis finished second on that occasion and could pick up another place today.

MR RED CLUBS failed to impact in handicap company last time but this is more his level and he landed a seller here as recently as April. He rates the most solid option here, but Retrieve is certainly capable of giving the selection a race if able to produce his best following a busy spell recently. Strong Steps is useful on his day and really should be able to fare best of the rest.

Sir Mark Prescott usually comes good at this time of year and looks to have another fine chance here with LUGANO, a lightly-raced son of Galileo who only made one start last season but made it a winning one when scoring at Newcastle. He still look a well-handicapped horse off 69 and should be able to resume where he left off. Boychick ran really well for second at Kempton and seems sure to get involved again with Victor's Bet and Hussar Ballad others worth noting.

Simply Me had a successful spell over the winter months before her form tailed off in March. The daughter of New Approach may well have benefited from a 76 day break but has to give weight all round and preference goes to HELLFIRE, who only found one too good when bidding for a double at Kempton on Wednesday and could have more improvement to come with George Wood claiming a valuable 5lb. French looks a solid danger on her last couple of outings, while Stosur cannot be discounted.

TADWEEN has continued to improve with each start this year and improved for the step up to a mile when second to Music Seeker at Newmarket last month. The extra furlong here has the potential to eke out further improvement and he can use the experience gained to see off Sheikh Hamdan's other contender Yaarmen who is respected on his debut for William Haggas. Luminous will definitely improve for the extra couple of furlongs and is best of the remainder.

SHEER INTENSITY returned to the winner's enclosure at Brighton on her latest outing and the extra furlong combined with Keelan Baker's 7lb allowance gives her leading credentials. Outlaw Torn merits consideration on his third at Wetherby last time, while Misu Pete has improved on his recent form having placed the last twice and completes the shortlist along with Society Ranger.
