POCKET THE PROFIT seemed to have plenty in hand when scoring at Brighton earlier this month and he can follow up, despite having to carry a 6lb penalty. Brazen Akoya also has to shoulder a penalty after his front-running success over this C&D and he appears to be the main threat to the selection. Mr Ginja Ninja produced a career-best run when recording a third-placed effort at Chelmsford last month and he is another to note.

AMALFI BAY had excuses when encountering traffic problems at Lingfield and he can resume winning ways, now returned to this favourable distance. Sunset Memory produced a career-best when scoring at Sandown last month and she merits respect on her all-weather debut. Thunder Ahead has been a consistent performer and is likely to appreciate this drop in class, while Zhang Fei and Zookeeper are others to note.

MOHI was a gutsy winner when losing his maiden tag over this C&D last month. The son of Acclamation was given a 5lb rise for that success and he can defy his new mark in this contest. Kit Gabriel retains the cheekpieces after his breakthrough victory at Pontefract and he appears to be the main threat to the selection on his all-weather debut. Golden Rainbow also has claims if bouncing back to his earlier form, while Poet is one to note for any market support on his nursery debut.

Mount Mogan is in fine form at present and has a live chance as he comes here in search of a three-timer. Connections may have found him a good opportunity to win again, but he might face stiff competition from the lightly raced three-year-old MR TRICK, who could be coming back to form as he produced an encouraging display at Salisbury on his latest start. Twilight Secret is another three-year-old that should not be underestimated after winning well at this venue last time to get off the mark at the fifth attempt.

INFRARED has an attractive pedigree and he made a promising start to his career at Sandown. With improvement on the cards, he looks a leading contender and may be able to break his maiden tag at the second time of asking. Newcomers Murphy's Dream and Krypton have plenty of speed in their families and are also related to some precocious individuals, so it would be no surprise to see them make an impact on their debut.

Fierospeed and Pretty Sweet are closely matched on their meeting at this venue on their latest starts and that looks strong form in the context of this race, so they look big players. However, the lightly-raced REMEDIUM tries the all-weather for the first time following a promising performance at Newbury when fourth behind the progressive Neenee's Choice. If he can build on that run and enjoys this surface then he will have strong claims.

TOROMONA may not have been seen since last September but he remains a gelding of considerable potential for the Charlie Appleby team. Runner-up on both outings as a juvenile, the son of Shamardal can make up for lost time here. Lady Rockstar has had numerous opportunities to break the maiden and she may have to settle for minor honours once again before reverting to handicap company. Geminga shaped with encouragement on her return from a lengthy absence at Pontefract and she is also entitled to respect.

It has taken a while for VISALA to get the hang of the racing game, but she certainly knew her job at Yarmouth last month. Raised 5lb for that impressive success, William Haggas' filly has plenty in her favour having placed here in the past, and the step up in trip a big plus. Runner-up on two of her last three outings, Lower Street warrants consideration along with course winner One Last Dance, while Bint Australia is interesting on her first run for David O'Meara.
