REGINALD CLAUDE has been running respectably recently, including off this mark over C&D and under today's jockey. In fact, he is a three-time winner over this C&D and a dual winner for this pilot, the only negative being he hasn't won off a mark in the 60s since his juvenile days. Burtonwood has won two of his last three starts and has to be respected, while Flashy Diva and Mr Dandy Man also have each way claims.

First Bombardment has had plenty of opportunities and it is hard to fancy him for win purposes, but he is unlikely to be too far away from the business end. IF WINTER COMES has filled the runner-up position on both her starts to date and while those were not on the Tapeta, they were on the Polytrack. She would have been closer last time but she did plenty early on that day and with a more restrained ride she can go well. Parkour and Stylish Minerva look the pick of the remainder.

BOCHART has shown plenty of speed so far in her career and she would have found 6f on heavy ground too taxing last time out, prior to that she put in two runner-up efforts over 5f and 5.5f. She certainly has the ability to win a race like this if she can relax early. She could be pushed for the lead early on by Lady Nayef, who carries a 6lb penalty for her win over 6f at Chelmsford last week. Point Of Woods brings solid form to the table and has to be respected, along with First To Post who has been set some stiff tasks since breaking his maiden tag at Carlisle in August.

Most of these arrive with something to prove on recent form and it is only the most tentative of votes that goes the way of CAPTAIN GEORGE. He was beaten by 10 lengths when fifth over this trip at Brighton last time but may improve for the drop into the basement grade. Pencaitland has run respectably over 1m2f of late and could improve for this stiffer test, while C&D winner Snow Dancer is no forlorn hope as she's only 1lb higher than when winning on turf at Hamilton in June.

Course winner Elle Rebelle has dropped 6lb lower than when scoring here last year and could feasibly improve on her latest effort at Bath. Of more interest, however, is LITTLE CHOOSEY, who was far from disgraced when sixth at Beverley last time off 1lb higher and is entitled to improve on that effort now eased into 0-50 company. Summerling has dropped to a workable rating and is also capable of making her presence felt.

EL DUQUE has won at this track in the past and shaped as though a return to winning ways was imminent when grabbing the silver medal at Bath last month. Staying on well for second that day without ever troubling the winner, the four-year-old should appreciate the extra yardage and connections have found him a real opening. Glasgon won over the trip at Carlisle three starts back and is respected with that ready success still fresh in the memory, while Tiger's Home is also given a chance.

CAHAR FAD is one of just two C&D winners in the field following his ready triumph here at the beginning of the month and, not without his supporters that day, can go in again while evidently on good terms with himself. Scent Of Power ran well for the silver medal in a Leicester seller on his first run for a new stable recently and she's noted along with The Way You Dance, who ran better than the bare form figures suggests in first-time cheekpieces at Beverley last month.

MALLYMKUN has been knocking hard on the door in starts over six and seven furlongs here of late and Karl Burke's charge can get her head in front getting weight for age against the older horses. Staying on strongly over C&D last time, she looks more than capable of exploiting a mark of 59 and there should be more improvement to come. Sewn Up knows his way around here and is shortlisted along with Brighton winner Tancred.
