A pretty unattractive betting heat and the recommendation is ZAIN TIME, who was disappointing when tried over six furlongs at Doncaster, but did show promise over the minimum trip at Leicester on debut. Comparative is entitled to strip fitter for his British debut and might have more to offer in first-time blinkers, while a hood might bring improvement from the top-rated Helvetia.

PERARDUA plugged on well over the minimum trip earlier this month and might be worth another chance now she faces a stiffer test. The hat-trick seeking Meandmyshadow is feared most as she remains unexposed on synthetic surfaces despite this being her 87th competitive start. Debt Free Dame has been banging loudly on the door, while any market support behind the Irish raider Burren View Lady should be noted.

Yorkshireman was a little disappointing here last time, but he is a dual C&D winner and merits consideration, while Illya Kuryakin is no forlorn hope off a 1lb lower mark than when fifth over the extended 1m5f at this track latest. Preference, however, is for SKY ROSE. William Knight's filly doesn't have many miles on the clock and she produced by far and away her best effort yet when a half-length third over the extended 1m5f at Chelmsford three weeks ago. If taking another step forward, which she is entitled to, she will prove tough to beat.

Cherry Street wasn't beaten all that far in a 1m2f Newmarket handicap latest and he warrants plenty of respect now dropped in both trip and grade, but both heart and head say that KNOW YOUR NAME can get the job done. Eric Alston's charge certainly deserves a win following a number of near-misses and he won't be found many better opportunities than this. Depth Charge is just 1lb higher than when placed over C&D last time and he merits consideration, while Chocolate Diamond cannot be ruled out either.

CASTILO DEL DIABLO was not suited by the way the race was run last time out over C&D, where he made up late ground after being held up behind two horses who raced prominently. He has a solid record on all-weather surfaces and, while he is probably better over further, he looks sure to go well. Zand wasn't beaten all that far when fifth in a competitive handicap at Newbury last time, while the Lady Cecil-trained Hamelin is another with strong claims.

There's no stopping SAN QUENTIN at present, and he pulled clear with the runner-up when scoring over course and distance most recently. He will take plenty of beating in his hat-trick bid, though the reliable A Little Bit Dusty should give him something to think about. Wildomar needs to put a poor run behind him but has solid place claims, along with the lightly-raced Napoleonic, who promises to be suited by this step up in trip.

THE FIRM ran out a convincing winner here four days ago, responding well to the fitting of the blinkers, and provided they continue to do the trick he will likely prove tough to beat under his penalty. Right Madam has been knocking on the door recently and should be on the premises once more. The booking of Luke Morris aboard Elle Rebelle catches the eye, while Lynngale and Rockwood are worth a place on the shortlist.
