Not a great deal of strength in depth here but WILHANA shaped with distinct promise when second of four on her debut here earlier in this month and noticeably green on that occasion, she is entitled to have learnt plenty from that initial experience. She should be able to go one better and open her account this evening, although Candy Kitten is entitled to give his running again following solid placed efforts at Chepstow and Lingfield latest. Of the two newcomers, Boom makes most appeal.

LET ME IN maintained his progression when completing a quickfire double here earlier in the month and despite a 6lb rise in the weights, he looks worth sticking with and is fancied to register another success this evening. Napinda is another coming into this in form and the recent course runner-up can be expected to give her running again, likewise the consistent Greyemkay.

An improved showing from the lightly-raced Travel would not surprise while Poncho gave plenty of encouragement when second on her return from a long lay-off at Wolverhampton. Marina Ballerina ran well at Southwell latest but prefers the fibresand surface so the one who makes most appeal is MEN DON'T CRY. The selection failed to fire at Bath latest but showed his liking for this venue when second over C&D two starts back and could prove hard to beat with a repeat performance.

A poor maiden in which the standard is set by the 52-rated BOROUGH BOY. The selection had a few of these in behind when producing a much-improved performance to finish second in a C&D maiden earlier this month and a repeat performance should be good enough to see him get off the mark. Mid Yorkshire Golf can edge out stable Stoneacre Hull for the silver medal.

DILGURA stepped up on his maiden win at Bath when only narrowly losing out at in a decent-looking Goodwood handicap last month and she looks to type to progress with racing. Taking a slight ease in class this evening and armed with box number one, she looks to have plenty going for her. Heading the list of dangers are impressive recent C&D winner Burren View Lady, while Available showed improved form when second here latest and he finds himself on a really good mark now.

This shouldn't take a great deal of winning and TRAIN HARD looks a solid proposition on the back of a couple of recent runner-up efforts. The son of Rail Link looks to be crying out for this step up in trip when second over 1m4f here last time and the booking of Kieren Fallon certainly merits respect. Mr Burbidge starts life in handicaps off a lowly mark and could be worth a market check, while Street Runner ran well enough over hurdles last time to warrant consideration.

GOAL returns to these shores having won easily at Limerick earlier in the week and already a three-time course winner, he looks to have plenty in his favour turned out under a 6lb penalty this evening. The hat-trick-seeking Tatting rates the obvious danger but he continues to creep up the weights and faces his toughest task yet on this occasion, while the likes of Dancing Cosmos and Glenridding are also respected in a competitive finale.
