Connacht Girl appears to be hugely flattered by a mark of 82 based on a bitterly disappointing run in an Ayr maiden back in May, although she has since been switch back to Karl Burke's yard. RAFFLE KING has filled second place in his last two starts and a reproduction of either of those efforts should be good enough to win this event. Blazed disappointed on soft ground last time out but his previous form gives him a shout.

ROBBIE ROO ROO has a very good record on synthetic surfaces and she has form figures of 12 at this track. A mark of 64 may still underestimate this filly based on those performances. Kodicat has been knocking on the door of late and she should be in the mix once again while Magic Moments won over C&D two starts ago and things did not go to plan for her here last month.

BARYE is at his very best on the all-weather and he was given a break over the summer following a busy spell last winter. He has had a pipe-opener on the turf last month and is now 3lb below his last winning mark. Master Singer has been very disappointing since his easy win on the Tapeta at Newcastle in May but the return to this surface may spark a change in form. Others to consider are Bear Valley, Fierce Impact and Kasperenko.

YAAFOUR has to give plenty of weight away but he remains the one to beat following a respectable run in a valuable sales race at Newmarket earlier in the month. Craving is entitled to improve significantly for his debut run while Wissahickon is a half-brother to the top-class filly Rainbow View as well as the high-class US performer Just As Well.

Ballyfarsoon hinted his turn was fast approaching when second off 1lb lower at Chelmsford last time and should go close with a repeat of that performance, though his conqueror, NAVAJO STAR, is expected to confirm the form here. Mick Appleby's charge followed up that success with victory at Newcastle on Thursday and can complete the hat-trick. Gabrial The Duke has been dropped 4lb for finishing down the field over 1m4f here last time but may be able to step up on that performance now granted this stiffer test. Recent Kempton third Ocean Gale is also respected in her current form.

Stamp Duty returned to form when runner-up to Lord Murphy here back in April and the booking of Luke Morris looks a notable one making his return after a 175 day absence. Top Offer could benefit from first-time blinkers having had the visor on for a while but recent course winner BORN TO REASON was well backed on that occasion and can go in again off a 3lb higher mark.

The King's Steed thrived on heavy ground last time at Ayr when battling his way to victory and Micky Hammond's charge is sure to play a part once again. Sir Lancelott was well beaten last time but could get Adrian Nicholls' training career off the mark from a career low mark, while David Egan partners Hot Mustard who can be forgiven his recent Chelmsford effort when a beaten favourite. However, preference is for PENY ARCADE who is dangerously placed towards the foot of the handicap, and Alistair Whilians' raider offered encouragement when running her best race of the season when third last time.

Mick Channon's filly HALDAW was second at Wolverhampton last time and she is backed to go one better here and get off the mark in the hands of leading apprentice David Egan. Course and distance winner Arrowzone is sure to run his usual solid race, while a drop in trip combined with a relief of 4lb from the assessor may be able to help Kerry Icon, whose last run can have a line drawn through it.
