HAND IN GLOVE ran a debut full of promise when second over this track and track last week, beaten under a length at the line. Entitled to build upon that effort with the benefit of a run now behind her, Robert Cowell's charge rates the most likely winner here. Golden Flower shaped with promise when second over C&D on her first run for David O'Meara and looks the main danger ahead of Kevin Ryan's debutant Black Rider, for whom any market support would be significant.

LOYAL ROYAL was subjected to support when fourth over 6f at Lingfield last time and connections will be hoping to gain compensation now switching to this venue and dropping back in trip. Considering the selection has dropped 5lb lower than his last winning mark, a return to winning ways looks imminent any time soon. Trending, who struck over the trip at Bath in the summer, and C&D winners Athwaab and Sally's Swansong are others weighted to finish on the premises.

A trappy race but RED CAPE is a solid yardstick on this surface and has been in good form of late, finishing a good second over this C&D most recently. Mister Bond, who returns from a two-month break and will appreciate the return to 6f and Irish Heartbeat, who ran with credit over 7f in a Lingfield seller latest and now debuts for Jamie Osborne, are considered lively dangers. Parisian Pyramid and Fathsta look the pick of the Dr. Marwan Koukash-owned contingent and wouldn't be winning out of turn either.

LADY MALET built on a moderate course debut when beaten by under a length into second over 7f at Lingfield two weeks ago. William Haggas' charge was headed near the finish that day, and the drop back to this shorter trip is expected to prove the catalyst for her to open her account at the third attempt. Perfect Venture has place claims but may be seen to better effect when handicapping. A bigger threat may be Richard Fahey's Rene Mathis, providing he can leave a disappointing debut effort at Haydock behind.

Fairyinthewind is turned out under a penalty for scoring over 1m at Lingfield on Tuesday and while this longer trip is unlikely to be an issue, it is slightly offputting that an apprentice rider takes over in the saddle. Preference is for ELIZABETH COFFEE, who has dropped to a fair mark these days (has won off 4lb higher in Ireland) and will appreciate the return to this shorter trip on the back of a wayward course effort over 1m4f last time. Dual course winner Knowe Head usually runs his race around here and has place claims, along with recent 7f maiden winner The Mongoose.

FOURTH GENERATION gained reward for a series of consistent efforts over middle distance when striking over 2m at Kempton 10 days ago and, open to more improvement over the trip, Alan Swinbank's representative is expected to land a quick double off 3lb higher. Two lengths behind the selection in fifth last time, Woolfall Treasure has a solid chance now 4lb better off at the revised weights. The Ian Williams-trained three-year-old Gabrial's King, in receipt of weight-for-age, looks the main danger, however.

Lastkingofscotland continues to knock hard on the door but a string of near misses have left his followers tearing their hair out and he isn't one to lump the Christmas bonus on at a short price. In a wide open race, a chance is taken on IMPRIMIS TAGULA, who was touched off by a nose in a course seller over the extended 1m last time out, but will appreciate the return to this shorter trip and looks on a workable mark. Mazovian is only 1lb higher than his last winning mark and merits a market check now having his first run since signing off the turf season with a fair third at Leicester in October.
