REBEL DUKE makes his return from a 499-day absence and if ready to roll, the Ollie Pears inmate will take all the beating having won five times on the all-weather surface, which includes C&D winning form here. The 94-rated Drawnfromthepast sets the form standard for Ed Walker and should be considered carefully along with Master Of Disguise, if market vibes suggest a big run in the first time tongue-tie.

SAMBA NIGHT can benefit from having had a third run and a creditable debut effort on the all-weather surface suggests the Ed McMahon charge will be suited by switch from the turf. Brilliant Crystal also appears to be progressing nicely and might be of particular interest to each-way punters but Confucius Elite is the main danger to the selection having shaped eye-catchingly at Lingfield in August.

It is hard to ignore QUESTION TIMES in this maiden event following a runner-up effort in Listed company at HQ last term. That particular effort was backed up by a solid second at Yarmouth recently and she could prove a class above these. Arrivaderci rates the main the danger to the selection despite beginning to look exposed while of the others, Cool Rhythm commands respect on his second career start.

The hat-trick seeking JUSTBOOKIE DOT COM is taken to land the hat-trick despite a 9lb rise in the ratings. The three-year-old son of Fath is clearly improving and with Kieren Fallon in the saddle, he is the one to beat. Elsewhere, it would be no surprise to see Glenridding go close while Polemica remains well handicapped in this company and is another to take note of.

KEY BREEZE is of particular interest as the Kevin Ryan charge returns to the scene of his most recent all-weather success which was recorded on this card exactly a year ago. He arrives off a 6lb higher mark which doesn't appear beyond him but keep an eye on the penalised Leicester winner Yensi who represents the in form George Baker stable. Carcinetto looks the best of the rest.

DAN BUOY appears to have put a lacklustre start to the season firmly behind him and a reasonable effort at Pontefract last time out over this trip suggested he is ready to get his head back in front. His mark of 53 on this surface looks a dangerous one but keep a close eye on Ministry who appears to found his best form of late. Simple Jim continues to give account of himself for David O'Meara and also enters calculations.

Liam Jones looks to have a strong chance aboard the in form Knowe Head following his C&D success here last week but he must defy the burden of top weight and, for that reason, DREAM OF FORTUNE is preferred. Kieren Fallon's mount has proved and model of consistency on the all-weather and the seven-time winner has threatened a winning performance of late. Arctic Cat appeals most of the others.

The veteran Prince Of Thebes isn't without a chance in the finale but preference is for the consistency of INDIAN VIOLET. The son of Indian Ridge continues to threaten off a similar mark and can take plenty of positives from his all-weather form which reads better than that on the turf. The lightly raced Wings Of Apollo may be of particular interest to each-way punters while Jaldarshaan can also get serious where it matters most.
