BLISTERING DANCER was just half-a-length behind a subsequent winner when third over 7f at Kempton last time and if adopting the same front-running tactics over this shorter trip, he could prove difficult to peg back. Freeze A Crowd has gone unpunished for her runner-up finish at Chelmsford and should give another good account, while Cerulean Silk and Prigsnov Dancer are others to keep an eye on.

BRACKEN BRAE was a runaway winner over a similar trip at Chelmsford last week and a 6lb penalty probably won't be enough to anchor her if arriving in the same mood. Missandei won in more workmanlike fashion over this C&D latest and she warrants respect off just 2lb higher, while Next Edition and Nolecce add further spice to the contest.

PANCAKE DAY has been hammering on the door recently and, with the added help of first-time blinkers tonight, he might be able to regain the winning thread. Rat Catcher wasn't beaten too far in a similar C&D event last time and he has a definite chance lining up off the same mark of 55, while Seraphima shouldn't be too far away either.

Talented apprentice rider Harry Burns has built a good rapport with BOXING SHADOWS and has been seen to good effect aboard the Camacho gelding on two occasions at Lingfield. Winning readily over this distance there last time, a 5lb weight rise might not be enough to halt his progress. Of the others, we haven't seen the best of Frangarry yet and he finished a decent third here a fortnight ago, while Frank The Barber is also noted.

Coillte Cailin arrives on a hat-trick but a 4lb rise for her track and trip victory three weeks ago may leave her vulnerable to MITRE PEAK. Richard Fahey's charge has taken on tough assignments the last twice but this looks a much more realistic race to tackle and she's very much respected now returned to the scene of her easy C&D maiden success in January. L'inganno Felice and Off The Pulse are others to consider for the minor money.

FOUR MILE BEACH shaped with plenty of promise when second over 1m on debut at Southwell and is entitled to build on that effort now upped in trip and with the benefit of a run behind him. King Oswald is a potential improver now stepped up in distance, while any money for the two newcomers in the line up - David Simcock's Ultimate Star and Charlie Hills inmate Skara Mae - would also be worth noting.
