SPEIGHTOWNS KID was outclassed in 0-95 company here last week but looks a danger to all now returned to a more realistic grade. Beaten by a neck off 1lb higher at Lingfield three runs ago, Jo Hughes' trailblazer looks weighted to go well now taking on weaker opposition. Colbyor has gone up 4lb for scoring over C&D at the start of the month and looks the main danger ahead of the consistent Strong Man, who was third over 5f latest and will appreciate the return to this longer trip.

HIDDON COIN has benefitted from a drop in grade by landing C&D claimers the last twice and made all of the running when landing the latest of those victories here on Monday. David O'Meara's three-year-old had plenty of his rivals off the bridle early on that day and should be capable of making his presence felt here off bottom weight. Dark Lane is respected when plying his trade at this level and looks the main danger ahead of the eased-in-grade Proper Charlie.

MONZINO's profile is interesting, as he was bought for $290,000 as a yearling but was sold to his present trainer for 800gns three years later, without ever setting foot on a racecourse. He's clearly an animal that has had his share of problems, but he's recently started to fulfill his promise and in landing two races here over the extended 1m, he commands respect under a double penalty. Tyrur Ted and Midnight Bahia have been knocking on the door and have place possibilities.

Young Jackie scored by a neck over track and trip in an apprentices' handicap earlier in the month and commands plenty of respect off an unchanged mark. Preference, however, is for TITAN DIAMOND, who marked a return to form when third from a poor draw here last time and is racing off a 1lb lower mark from stall 2 this evening. Fashion Flow (who was engaged to run at Kempton yesterday) has recently joined John Butler and merits a market check along with stablemate Atacama Sunrise.

They didn't go off hard enough for DORBACK over 6f at Kempton last time but now dropping back to the minimum trip and taking on a field packed with plenty of early pace, an improved showing looks likely. The main danger looks to be Alaskan Bullet, who turned in a commendable effort from out of the weights at Lingfield last time and is now racing from back within the handicap proper. Triple Dream and Rocket Rob should also be seen finishing to good effect late on.

GOLDAN JESS has been knocking hard on the door during recent outings over C&D and is expected to improve upon his latest third in an amateurs race now Adam Kirby takes over in the plate. Party Palace stayed on for third over 1m6f here last time and has place claims now upped in trip, though the main danger looks to be Tim Vaughan's Postmaster, who last visited the winner's enclosure in May last year in a hunters' chase and is now rated 83lb lower in this sphere.

TAXIFORMISSBYRON has racked up a quick-fire double at Kempton over 1m this month and a 6lb penalty for her most recent success might not be enough to stop her landing the hat-trick. Open to more improvement going up to the extended 1m for the first time, expect another big run and she looks set to get the better of C&D winner Amelia Hull and course runner-up Armada Bay.
