DIVINE INTRIGUE overcame her rider losing his irons to score here when last seen and while this distance will be at the lower end of her spectrum, she should be fresh and raring to go following a break. Spring Action has had even longer off but won at Santa Anita in January, and Tucson is another to consider.
Noble Thought has shown more than enough in two appearances to suggest a maiden such as this should be a formality, but he may have to settle for minor honours again because MAJESTIC SLEW was ahead of him here in August and then made the frame in a stakes contest. Bear'sway drops from Grade 2 company so also enters the reckoning.
JOSE SEA VIEW couldn't quite last home over slightly further last time but his second was still an honourable effort and he will give his supporters another bold sight. Run To The Bank is steadily edging back towards the winner's enclosure, and Ella's Smile wasn't for catching at this venue most recently but now has more on his plate.
REGAL MARK built on his successful debut when a close-up third here last month, and he has the measure of Virtadero, The Feather Lands, Jimmies Truck and Still Krz on that evidence. The one to give him most to think about could be Lion Of Judah now that he drops from a route.
Just Fiona usually runs her race, but she was adrift of WANNABITABREW on her penultimate outing and Steven Chircop's filly gets the nod, even though she faded over 6f last time. Vinolicious has her sights lowered and is a major player too.
Awesome Dove and Arched are very interesting newcomers but there is no substitute for experience and TARGETING has shown some ability in much better maiden special weights. Irish Influence is battle-hardened and that will carry her a long way.
R U WATCHINGBUD has acquitted himself well enough in stakes company this year and deserves to get his head in front. Java's Bourbon got the job done nicely here latest but was behind reopposing subsequent winner Easy Indygo before that so that one is put forward as the primary threat.
CAREN's unbeaten run may have come to an end in the Natalma Stakes but she emerged from that Grade 2 with her reputation enhanced and it will be a surprise if she can't regain the winning thread in this company. Pure Purity was impressive on her introduction and can chase the selection home ahead of another once-raced winner in Perfect Ella.
Not surprisingly, TURNCOAT came up short in the Woodbine Mile but was comfortably clear of Jolly Dancer here previously and he can show his appreciation for having his sights lowered. Marten Lake has been keeping stakes company and is a danger, and Alpha Bettor can't be dismissed at his best.
TRINI LIME has been tackling much stronger contests and the drop to this level can enable him to break his duck at the seventh attempt. His experience earns him the nod ahead of Arrivedfromviljusa, who is one to watch in the market ahead of his debut. Super Pit and Blutarsky cannot be dismissed lightly either.
