Last month's course scorer Beorma would have an excellent chance if turning out here quickly following her Southwell romp on Tuesday, but preference is for FEET ON THE GROUND. She performed admirably behind the Dan Skelton inmate when third here and could step forward on just her second chase start. Uttoxeter second Rockvale and Best Mate Dave are others to consider closely.
BEORMA can continue her record progress. She has been thriving over hurdles and fences over 2-2 1/2m on a sound surface in a busy schedule. She remains a long way ahead of her mark and can account for Feet On The Ground who shaped well over an inadequate 2m on her chase debut. That rival is on a dangerous mark judged on her hurdle form and is expected to improve significantly for the step up in trip. Miss Pearl goes the other way in distance having failed to stay 3m on her chase bow. She is also given a chance with Sean Bowen booked.

BAGHEERA GINGE could hardly have been more impressive when regaining the winning thread at Stratford and connections have found their gelding another very winnable opening. Expect him to be on the front end and prove a tough nut to crack. Peaky Boy showed a bit more at Uttoxeter latest and is noted, while Grand Clermont should also be bang there for an in-form yard.
GRAND CLERMONT proved he handled quicker ground when registering a first win for his current stable last time and he remains very well treated on his best French form. He can defy a 10lb rise to defeat veteran My Bobby Dazzler who has returned to form of late. That rival does have some enthusiasm concerns but he remains on a dangerous mark and will appreciate the slight drop in trip. Bold jumping frontrunner Bagheera Ginge also arrives in terrific form and will remain a threat despite a further 4lb rise.

The market should tell us more when it comes to the newcomers going to post here, with Dora's Double and Lucy Glitters the most interesting. UNFLAPPABLE showed some ability on debut at Newton Abbot, though, and experience can win the day here if she steps forward from that encouraging third-placed finish. Keep an eye on Lady Of Tarsus as well.
UNFLAPPABLE is the solid pick here having placed on debut on good ground. She arguably challenged too soon that day so is open to improvement under a more reserved ride. Her biggest threats may be newcomers with Crack Of Thunder standing out as she is related to Flat winners and has plenty of speed in the pedigree. SHAMSAT returned from a few months off the track to fill the runner-up spot over C&D last month and with the likelihood of more to come, he's taken to go one place better. Premier Tenor (third) finished a few lengths in arrears that day and may struggle to reverse the form with James Owen's gelding, while others to note include Trouville and Babs.
It was slightly disappointing that PREMIER TENOR was turned over at short odds on his hurdling debut but it's likely he needed that first run for the yard. It was his first outing since the autumn and the French Flat winner is expected to improve for that experience so will take all the beating. Another French Flat winner Shamsat finished a place ahead of him that day but he did bring experience in to the race so may struggle to confirm the form. Useful Flat handicapper Trouville has joined a top yard and should make an impact on his hurdling debut as well.

JUST CALL ME BUZZ went desperately close when filling the runner-up spot over C&D last time out and in what appears to be only a moderate contest, a similar level of performance might be enough. Purple Owl should appreciate a return to maiden company, having struggled in handicaps the last twice, and Perth bumper winner Fiskardo might prove next best.
Bumper winner FISKARDO was only beaten by a potentially useful type on his hurdling debut and is chosen to go a place better here. The quicker surface should suit and he's open to improvement if brushing up on his jumping. Kernie d'Airy was also successful in bumpers and although things haven't gone to plan in this discipline since she may do better dropped back to 2m. She can fill the places with Dancingondiamonds who was lightly raced on the Flat in Ireland prior to transferring to this top jumps stable.

It's been hard to keep the Skeltons out of the winner's enclosure so far this term and SUNRAY SHADOW can continue that trend. The son of Blue Bresil won over timber at Huntingdon before making a successful chasing debut here a fortnight ago and he can land the hat-trick. American Mike and Gwennie May Boy can battle it out for second.
Sunray Shadow has been thriving for his new yard and arrives seeking a hat trick on his hurdles return. He remains unexposed as a stayer so is greatly respected but the better value may lie with SHALLOW RIVER. He proved progressive before a lay off and caught the eye on his return where he was given a gentle ride over an inadequate 2 1/2m. Stepped back up in distance with Sean Bowen back on board he is chosen to resume his improvement. Fakenham winner Belcamo is 3lb higher on his first start since January. The lack of a recent outing may catch him out, while Play Pretend has struggled of late but this return to a shorter trip could see the C&D winner bounce back. However, BOBBARELLI boasts the strongest recent form as he looks to build on last month's second over fences at Stratford. He can race of an unchanged mark reverting to hurdles and drops in class with a leading chance.
It could be worth taking a chance with SON OF HYPNOS here who is well treated on his old Irish form and proved he retained his ability on his penultimate start. He is easily forgiven his last run over further where he was unsuited by a change of tactics but he could well get an easy lead here. Western Soldier was given too much to do last time but bounced back to form. The maiden hurdle winner KOM TU VOUDRAS made an encouraging handicap debut when runner-up at Warwick on her first start since February. The winner has subsequently franked that form and there looks plenty more to come from Faye Bramley's charge. October Hill won nicely at Ffos Las to open her account over timber. She's likely to prove competitive once again and is preferred to Kittys Glance and Belle Le Grand.
The steadily progressive KITTYS GLANCE can add to her maiden win on her handicap debut. Her latest runner up effort has been boosted and she looks to have been given a lenient opening mark. Kom Tu Voudras has been highly tried in her short career and remains with potential for improvement in handicaps. In first time headgear she can pose the main challenge ahead of the consistent October Hill who has only gone up 2lb for her latest win.
