The likes of Key Ambition, raised 3lb for a head defeat at Newbury, Rent Free, 7lb higher than when scoring at Beverley in August, and Deepsand, up 3lb for his victory at Ayr, have all performed creditably in handicaps previously and are expected to go well but it might be worth chancing RADIO GAGA, who was off the mark on debut at Haydock last month in a maiden that has produced a series of subsequent winners.

Saeed Bin Suroor won this race with Peligroso in 2009 and his South African Grade 1 winner Le Drakkar is interesting on his first run since March. However, with the benefit of a recent run over the last-named, preference is for JET AWAY, who ran a creditable race in second when giving 12lb to the winner in a conditions event at Newbury last time. Breeders' Cup Turf hero Dangerous Midge is capable of impacting if recapturing his Grade 1-winning form from last season.

Docofthebay is starting to look well treated and Hot Rod Mamma could bounce back to her best, while Goodwood winning Circumvent, who wasn't beaten far in the Cambridgeshire, is another to consider closely. However, the vote goes to BARREN BROOK, who is yet to finish out of the frame in three runs here and will appreciate the drop in trip. The well handicapped Harrison George and Mr Rainbow, from an inside draw, are not rule out lightly.

The form standard is set by the likes of Byronic Hero, a nose second in a Pontefract maiden in July, Lisiere, runner-up over C&D on debut, and Master Bond, who landed the silver medal behind subsequent handicap winner Deepsand at Redcar in August. Nevertheless, it might be worth siding with David Barron's newcomer, PEARL SECRET, with Jamie Spencer getting the leg up on a colt that is out of a Listed sprint winner.

VITA LIKA gets the nod having opened his account when upped to this trip for the first time at Newmarket last month. Brian Meehan's charge is 4lb higher but remains open to further improvement over 1m2f. Others to consider in a wide-open event are Sangar, raised 1lb for a narrow defeat at Chester last time, and last time out Newcastle scorer Shadow Catcher. Now stepped back up from 1m, Dysios is also worthy of consideration.

Haymarket didn't find as much as hoped under pressure at Wolverhampton last time and preference is for EL LAIL, who showed signs of greenness when outpaced at Pontefract last time but finished her race well to take second, pulling clear of the remainder of the field. This extra furlong is expected to suit recent Beverley second Blades Lad while, at a bigger price, a market move for Dylan Thomas colt Scrupul may be worth heeding.

Pertemps Networks regained the winning thread at Wolverhampton recently and warrants consideration, along with stablemate Desert Vision, who is penalised for his latest victory at Nottingham. However, in a race that looks set to be run at a decent clip, the vote goes to BOWSERS BRAVE, who hasn't been overly raced this term and won on fast ground at Leicester last month. Red Jade and Dancing Primo are also considered.
