Verdict

It's hard to ignore the claims of BELIEVITANDUCAN, who made a winning return to the Flat at Ascot earlier in the month and is just 4lb higher. Billy Loughnane takes over in the saddle now, and the son of Make Believe could prove a tough nut to crack. Venezuelan is sent over two miles for the first time and he warrants a market check ahead of his stable debut/seasonal reappearance. Of the remainder, Kuredu King makes the most appeal.

Expert View Verdict

The Andrew Balding and Oisin Murphy combination catches the eye with SOLAR PASS, who has been running consistently well and again went close at Goodwood last time. This test should suit and another big run looks likely all things considered. Believitanducan arrives on the back of an Ascot success and remains progressive in both spheres despite a higher mark, so can well again here. Venezuelan ended last season in good form with a win and a couple of runner-up efforts and is an interesting contender now tackling this much longer trip for the first time on reappearance.
