Verdict
UNFLINCHING showed nice ability in winning a good-ground point-to-point back in the spring and looks to be quite useful. Out of a mare who was placed in Listed company on the Flat, he is unproven on heavy ground but was purchased by top jumping owners for 150,000 pounds following his pointing success. That form has received a boost as the runner-up is now a capable hunter chaser. Jessbers Wish showed nice ability in finishing third in a useful Liscarroll maiden in March, while Catalani is a triple point-to-point winner but tackles a different discipline here.
Expert View Verdict
Plenty of point form to go on here but UNFLINCHING's victory has worked out very well and he's fancied to make a winning debut under rules here. He has joined a top stable which can get them ready first time so he can get the better of fellow point winners Patsy's Pride and Catalani. The latter is especially respected as he arrives in terrific form.
