Verdict

Having overturned an odds-on favourite at Ballinrobe on Friday, TERO D'ROSA can follow up under a penalty. A relatively lightly-raced son of Galileo Chrome, the Ross O'Sullivan-trained gelding had shown promise on a couple of occasions before putting it all together last time. Almost certainly open to further improvement, the four-year-old looks the one to beat, despite the obvious concern of a wide draw. In hindsight, Can I Kiss You faced a difficult task when second to a handicap blot at Gowran Park recently. If coming on from that first run since October, the Kodi Bear filly is entitled to be involved. C&D winner Nibras Rainbow also warrants attention now back with trainer Paul Flynn.

Expert View Verdict

Jasmine Affanalis should have finished closer at Cork last time and should again go well here off a fair mark, while Tero D'Rosa is coming off a breakthrough win at Ballinrobe just the other day. A penalty asks more of that one, though, and so it might be that CHIPSRDOWN is able to provide her trainer with a remarkable fourth consecutive win in the race instead. She shaped well over 7f on handicap debut and looks ready for the return to 1m.
