Verdict
Party Island regained the winning thread over C&D on his latest outing and is bound to play a leading role again, but it's hard to get away from the hat-trick seeking GALAXY WONDER. Tony Carroll's charge won in comfortable fashion over the mile here last month and stepping back up in trip is unlikely to pose him any problems. Lingfield runner-up Criminal sports first-time cheekpieces and is another to consider.
Expert View Verdict
Three of these won last time, including veteran 9yo Party Island, who is more than twice the age of his four rivals. He scored here last time but likes a pace to aim at and isn't certain to get that in this smaller field. Let's instead go with CRIMINAL, who finally returned to form when runner-up at Lingfield last time, despite a slow start, and now gets first-time cheekpieces. He's still a maiden but that can change here. Galaxy Wonder is on a hat-trick and, like Party Island, ideally wants a gallop to aim at himself.
